I guess it depends on the physician because my lab report was 5-6 pages long and both were included

Normally when you go back for your post-op appointment they take 5 vials of blood to check just about everything

Thank you ladies for responding. I feel much better knowing that I'm not alone with this, and that 5000 isn't a astronomical number. I'm hoping that I will be balanced when I got back to get checked again in 2 months.

Beauty and Ms. Pitts this wasnt my experience at all. I think the problem is too many people were trying to get surgeries in before the new year and their coverage changed. I know this because i had to change my 3rd follow up due to surgeries...... i hope you both have smooth transitions from this point forward

Lol!!!! That's hilarious!!!!

Maybe I need to go outside more......I hate being outdoors though, but it is a thought

Ok.... I guess 5000 sounds so extreme to me.......

Thank you so much for responding, I appreciate it. That makes since, I guess because I'm losing weight from that area too.

I had my surgery on 10/24; the last few days I've had pain in my under my naval. Has anyone else experienced this at this point after surgery?
-
Congrats Ms. Pitts on your future sleeve, I had my sleeve done by Dr. Duncan. No one will tell you, but with the sleep study you are allowed to take something over the counter to assist with you sleeping. The only rule is you have to tell the tech before you get started so he/she can tell you exactly when to take it. (Only way I could sleep without being in my own bed)

Bump....hoping for replies

I am so glad you are home and resting!! I don't want to sound like your mother, but please allow your husband, family, and/or friends take care of the home. This is a major surgery and your body needs time to properly heal.

You look awesome!!!

So. I found out today during my EGD that I have a hiatal hernia (small). Has anyone else had one, and did it have any effect on your surgery?

My coworkers as all assholes and after very negative when it comes to anything positive.....there is bad case of crabs in a barrel at my place of employment. All they know is I went on fmla and instead people asking about my health they were concerned with "what I was having surgery and trying to text me to find out". So I didn't tell them anything, obviously these people could care less about my well being so screw them...lol!!! -

Chickfila has 4pc grilled nuggets and side that makes for a good grilled chicken salad. I agree the chilli at Wendy's is good!
