My consult is July 10th, thet told me it may take up to 6 or 8 wks to b approved b4 surgery. My question is I take around 13 meds, for various reasons, will this affect the outcome for approval?

Thank u so much, most r do to my weight, chclesterol, throid, blood pressure etc, But others are for ddd, (pain) n anxiety, just wondering if the surgeon would deny me because of this or make me stop taking anything. -

Been on here all morning, and have learned a lot of informed info. I am 52, a smoker, 5 3, wgt 235, BMI 42. My consult is July 3rd, just wondering how long the consult process takes b4 a surgery date is given. Have talked to Champ VA they say they do cover surgery, My type A personality says lets do it. Mainly wanting 2 kno what tests to expect, and should I consult my primary doc. -
