    Warning gross poo question

Totally normal... i had a few accidents the first couple weeks... and I agree NEVER trust a fart! I am almost 7 months out now and deal with weekly constipation issues. I have to stay away from cheese and anything else that can make me stop up... otherwise its no bueno for 3 or 4 days.
  3. Almost 60lbs down! I feel amazing!

    Overate and threw up

I am 9 weeks out and still having a problem with eating too fast, but I am getting better and knowing how much i can handle. I have thrown up maybe 2-3 times from just eating too much, and taking a drink too soon after.

    Stomache noises

Yeah they fill the whole working area with air, I had gas pains for about 2 weeks. So loud too, I would be laying down and it was like it was talking to me!

A lot of the time its the gas working its way out of you. Gas X strips helped mine to calm down.

    3 weeks po stall

8lbs isnt bad though! thats good! think of it another way! 8lbs is more than most newborn babies!! Thats a little more than a lb a day!

    Snacks for week 4

I usually eat string cheese, and i have some PB2, the chocolate peanut butter one is sooooo good! I sometimes put it in my greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

    3 weeks po stall

My surgeon warned me that there is usually a stall around 3 weeks, and that you may even a couple lbs, but its just your body getting used to everything. Itll pass, don't be discouraged! I hit a 3 week stall but i was so busy moving i barely noticed (thank goodness)

    Can't Decide! So confused!

I am 5 weeks tomorrow, and I have lost about 25 since surgery. Everyone varies, and there are plateaus and stalls for both surgeries. Whichever you choose, it really helps to have after pictures. I take one every wednesday (give or take a day), that way when i get discouraged that i think i should be loosing a lb a day, i can look at the pictures and notice the difference The biggest thing is getting into a long term eating habit that will help you succeed for life, not just for a year or two.
