  1. Hi everyone. I had my "almost 3 week" post op yesterday. I am 19 days post op, to be exact. Here are some updated pics, with the tape removed. The right side is still more swollen than the lift and has some leakage at incision sites, which is why the nipple looks a little distorted. However, you can see how things look without tape. Ruffling, swelling, and leakage will subside day by day. Swelling will take months to subside completely. My pain level went down considerably when the tape came off. I'm still quite sore and have a lot of zinging nerve pain. All in all I'm super pleased with the progress so far.
  2. I would wait a week or two. There are so many other things that can potentially happen on a dog walk besides pulling. You don't want to hurt yourself. I have a large breed too and although well behaved, I didn't want to risk tripping, or pulling or any other potential incident.
  3. No problem! I plan to post again at 4 weeks and then at 12 weeks.
  4. Has your Dr offered to do all of those procedures at once, including the TT? Most won't do that many all at once.

    Vitamins?

Mine are the same as what Kulita listed although B1 was only for 6 weeks and I have to take extra B12 based on my labs. I was able to skip the iron too.

    Constipation HELP!

Fleet enema for sure. Sounds scary but it's not. Once you're that backed up, nothing you take internally will make enough of a difference.
  7. Thanks everyone for all of the feedback. I will post more pics once the tape and stitches are gone. I'm now 2 weeks post op and there's still a good deal of discomfort/pain. As the swelling starts to go down and the tissue softens, it's pulling on my stitches. Wearing a bra is uncomfortable, but not wearing one is worse. Super tired. However, I'm still very glad I did this. It just took a bigger toll on me than I expected.
  8. I had the same concern about breast feeding, which is why I waited until now to do it. I wish I hadn't waited though. I still have not had children, and my PS told me that many women who have this surgery can still breast feed, although there's no guarantee. They don't remove the nipple anymore, so there's a higher chance of breast feeding being possible. I decided not to wait any longer based on kids I may or may not have one day. But, I'm older than you and completely understand why you're holding off.
