Yes I got my band! I have been home since yesterday and feel pretty good. I just have a lot of gas. I have a hard time resting too. Dr. Ortiz is awesome. I very happy I got this done and can't wait to see results. -
Since I got huge I have lost my sex drive. Does this change or has anyone experienced this and had a change?:eyebrows: Stacy

My doctor told me that pbing is bad for the band and that too much could cause slippage. You should see someone. Stacy -

I just had my surgery yesterday and I'm doing great. Just sore where the port is and not too much gas. Dr. Ortiz is awesome and can't thank him enough.:heh:

I am by the nurses station, they have computers there for patients to use. I am from San Diego. I was so stressed and shaking before my surgery, but when it was all over it was so easy. I'm very happy with Dr. Ortiz. Stacy

I am just hour post-op and feeling pretty good. I love California and I love Dr. Ortiz. Other than some port pain and a little gas this stuff is a breeze.:biggrin1: Stacy

My day is tomorrow and I feel so nervous and sick to my stomach. I am actually waiting for the clinics driver to pick me up right now for pre-op testing! The time is at a stand still.:nervous

Oh my god! I hope I can still eat it. I have it at least once a week and almost can't live without it. I love salmon and cream cheese roll with tempura shrimp on the inside.

Two more days! I am so excited and nervous. I go in tomorrow for all my testing. I am just worried about passing the lung test because I'm a smoker. I shouldn't have a problem though. Good luck to everyone else. Stacy

I have my surgery on March 16th and I haven't quit yet. Dr. Ortiz said to stop 2 weeks prior, but it's so hard when I can't eat either. I am going crazy at it is. I hope they don't postpone my surgery. Stacy -
I too would never be able to be banded. I was ok with taking the chance since Dr Ortiz has less than 1% of people that have any kind of problems. Stacy

USD is fine to use at least in TJ and Ensenada. Although it is better to use pesos because there is a better exchange rate. It is cheaper to use pesos. I'm not good at explaining why or even understanding it. That's just what my girlfriend tells me. She's from Mexico. Stacy
