I weighed 194 when I checked into surgery now 184. I think you are right the more you need to lose the bigger the number would be. I was just wondering on average what people lose the first week. I know it's a process but when I think Of what is going into my body I should be just weathering away. Lol

I know everyone Is different but is 10lns post surgery the first week normal or Am I on the low side?

Surgery is Tuesday and I was so prepared, but now I have gone completely blank. What are some good clear liquids I can have after surgery? About how long on clear liquids?

Currently I don't own a scale. It just depressed me. So should I go and buy one or should I just not worry about the number. I mean I will be able to tell if I'm losing weight or not. Plus I'm worried if I do get one I will be disappointed in how slow I lose. Surgery is Tuesday!! Yes this Tuesday! Lol

Thank you! I am still having the surgery come hell or high water! I've waited 3 years to do this until my youngest grad high school. I guess I'm just letting anxiety gt the best of me. I don't really have a support here as both my boys left for military the past couple months, so it's just me. I'm alone and scared and have only told a couple of friends. Mainly I don't want to hear them saying you don't need that, just get up and exercise. If it was that easy, we would all be skinny. I think I'm more scared of the after surgery and finances. I've put all my ducks in this and now I"m stressed about money. lol The shakes you guy from the doctor is so expensive, Does anyone know what I can buy at the grocery store that might be cheaper and still get the protein you need?

Well I'm being sleeved on Tuesday. I've been so excited now I'm scared and have doubts. Is this really worth it? Will it work. I'm 4"11 and weigh 200lbs. Short and no place to put it. I never go anywhere because I feel so gross. I live in my own prison. I think on one hand it's my only chance to start living again. Is this the right surgery for me? Should I have gone with the lab band or the other one. Will I ever get to eat real food again? Scared and lonely

Well they said they won't do it as long as I test positive. .

I guess my surgery will be delayed at least 6 weeks. I found out that I tested positive for H-Pylori which is a bacterial infection in my stomach. Apparent it's most likely been there since I was a child. 3 antibiotics. Frustrating. I hate delays. Uggggg!!!

Well I think I'm almost there. Completed my doctors apts, NUT and psyc eval. Now waiting on insurance approval and surgery date. Most likely will be sleeves middle to end of sept. I can hardly wait! So ready for this new chapter!

Well I think it's in track. Just lots of appts to fit in between work. Plus insurance approval but it's waiting until everything gets turned in but that can't be done until I get all appts done. I live about 45 min away so it's not like I can just run over there.

You look fabuliois. Question about your leak. Did you get sleeved or Lapland. Did you have to go back into surgery???

What are you dipping your crab legs in??? Are you only eating 2-4 ounces of crab? That's great results, I hope when it's my turn I will have the same results.
