Ok so about 2 1/2 weeks ago I had 9.25 in my band. The doctor filled it to 10.80.... That was way too tight for me so I had them unfill to 10.50. Since the fill I can barely eat but a few bites and I'm full. During the eating I girgle a lot. I feel like I want to do a super loud burp. So, today I sit down and have some sliced Turkey and a piece of Swiss cheese and no girgling. This was the first time I have not felt the girgling since my fill. With this meal I did not feel the tightness I would have felt yesterday. Is this normal? Just wanting to get some opinions. Since the fill I've lost 9 lbs. ~Linda

I have an 11cc band. About 2 weeks ago I took my fill from a 9.25 to 10.80. I ended up having way too much restriction and went back the next day and took my fill to 10.50. I'm off liquids and I do feel restriction. I will get a cup of Soup and finish only half! When I was at 9.25 I could pretty much eat the entire cup with no problem. I guess this is what they call the "green zone". In the 2 weeks since the fill I have lost 9 lbs. I really at this stage have to chew, chew, chew and take my time. You will get there it just takes time. I was getting frustrated too but, now I'm super happy ~Linda

I got a full which put me at 10.80, and I had to get an unfill which I took it too 10.50... 10.80 was way too much restriction!!! So far so good!!

I would ask. When I go for my fill they have the monitor in front of my stomach. This makes it WAY easier for the director to find my port. Trust me if they were putting me in pain...they would here me bit**ng to no end! You should not have to suffer like that. I have one doctor that always has trouble finding my port. Then the other doctor came in and found it with no problem. Good luck on your journey!

Currently I've lost 50 lbs. I'm stuck at this point and can't seem to loose any more. Can anyone give me any ideas on how to kick start the weight loss again? What did u change about your diet? Any advice would be great. Going on a cruise in about a week and want to lose as much weight as possible ~Linda

In really not sure how many calories I'm horrible at keeping track. I don't eat that much. Mon, tue, wed my breakfast consist of a protein shake. For lunch ill have tuna, salad with some baked chips or my fav- Wendy's chili, in the evening ill get a parfait or have a yogurt, or deli meat with a piece if cheese. Then I'll have 2 sugar free Popsicles. I've been stuck for like 1 1/2 months and I work out 4-5 days a week. I'm getting frustrated

It's been 6 months since surgery. I'm down 50 lbs and I have never been so happy! Even though its been a slower process the only regret I have is that I did not do this surgery sooner! I thank God daily for giving me strength and always being by my side through this process. I also am up to running 6 miles. Loving life❤

My elbow is inflamed and I informed my doctor that I'm a band patient so they gave me Celebrex, Is this ok for me to take? Due to my workouts it has caused me to give me tendinitis

lmgarza replied to hubmacfan's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Wow is your doctor allowing you 1 meal a day? I at least was allowed one protein and veggie per day. I know what your Gojng through I just got banded on 9/18. I had my breakdown moment post-op but, now I'm on solids and mushy's so im a much happier person now. -
When I worked at Wal-Mart back in the day. They had a horrible insurance plan, so it would not be shocking that they don't cover this type of surgery.
