You can log on to wlsfriends.co.uk (free to join) :biggrin:and if you go to the forum of PRE-OPP.HEADING BUDDIE.You can find a list of folk who are willing to become a buddie. Sometimes we need someone other that a close member of the family or close friend to share our wls life with and having a buddie who understands what you are going through can help.

Hi I payed for my band but Ithink if i had'nt i would be better off now. I got mrsa. And my nhs hospitol has an amazing high standard re mrsa. I ended up there. But the nhs would not give me the time of day at time so hence self funding. But they have seen the light. Mrs D

Hi , Just wondered if anyone has had their band removed. I have mrsa IN my port wound. :think I have had it now for 14months. :heh: I have had my ups and downs. At the moment I am down.:think The mrsa is getting the better of me. :angry Doc says that It will only go away if band is removed. I am so upset about this.:think Wondered if anyone has had similar problems. Mrs D.

I was wondering the same thing but I know that Fern is in training because she is doing the sponsored bike ride again this year. I really like this lady and admire her so much. And I also think she is looking rather wonderful. Go for it Fern!::clap2:
