I decided to pursue being banded after I gained 80 pounds after marring my husband and joining him on the road as a truck driver. I had alway thought that I could get the weight off without surgical means, boy was I wrong! After the seven month study the insureance company makes you do, I was approved! Very happy day for me! Talking about bitter sweet! I have struggled my entire life with weight issues, weight watcher, carb counting and am ready to for something to work! I have always been very active and marring a truck driver, well that was shot!

I am three months post surgery and have lost close to 35 pounds and am very happy about that! My husband has been a huge support as well as my parents and brother! I thank god for that every day!
