Heading out to have my surgery consultation with Pacific Bariatric Surgical Medical Group down in San Diego. Another huge step taken in my long "Kaiser" process of getting sleeved. I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel and it's shining bright!!! I am pumped! Today is a good day!

I certainly hope it's true. I am 5'11" and I have always wanted to be 6'0". Geez I hope when I get sleeved I can gain that extra inch I always wanted. Not sure if that actually happens, but eh... you just never know. LOL

Hello there and welcome. One thing I've learned is that Kaiser processes are certainly different depending on the region you're in. I am in Riverside, Ca. and we have to attend 12 Classes called Options classes among a bunch other requirement. My referral was recently approved. It seems as long as you commit to do what they they ask you, then will most like be approved. Again... Welcome and good luck on your journey. -

I am still pre-op, but I am not nervous at all. I'm so excited, and I can't wait to be sleeved. I certainly know the risks and possible complications, but the prospect of having a long and heathly life certainly outweighs those risks. I truly wish you the best on your journey, I'm sure you'll be just fine. And I agree... you're going to be running around with you kids and they'll be asking you for a break. !!!! Take Care
