Freinds...how Many Of Us Have Them?
LegendQueenT replied to Jolie_KeMi's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
MsKendraHL, I have been through it for other reason but it is all the same. I too had a friend for 15+ years and something similar happen. Let me put it to u straight up. We thought they were our friends. The fact is you were her friend but u were not necessary her friend. Shd had to keep u thinking that and keep u close so she can know everything going on in your life so she can top it. Now that she not going to he the finest chick in the group she has become a "HATE-AR". And like Kat Williams say we all need them in our life! Lol Like your husband say let her go, she has shown her true colors and this was not the first time, this time just mattered to U!!!! Now it's time to take care of the #1 Player in your life , U!!!! If she want to be in your social circle then she is going to have to check negativity at the door otherwise your circle is full and you will take her application and call her when there is an opening. You have to look at it that if she was a true friend, a do or die friend, she would be happy that you r getting healthy! I am still an associate with my so thought friend, I just associate when it is convenient for ME these days. Hope this helped Queen One foot in front of the other, one step at a time, if you fall down get up! QueenT -

"slow Losers" And Long Term Results?
LegendQueenT replied to Carly's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You want to hear about SLOW! Well how about almost 1 year out and your HW was 257, your LW 217, and now your weight 239! Now that's slow. I've been back to doc 3 times and we have tried upping Protein, increasing exercise. Not until last week I found out from talking to nutrientist and my Psyc that I was unconsciously blocking myself from loosing due that I was afraid of the saggy skin. Sound ridiculous? Yes but my best friend had gastric bypass and she lost 9 to 10 pounds a week too fast. When she reached her goal she showed me all the skin. She went from 400 to 200. But it's something I never wanted my husband to see. But no one said it would happen to me, my mind just kept the imagine and ad I start loosing I got scared and unconsciously stop doing what I suppose to do. Now that I have identified it I am back on track! Yeah, this week I'm ready and if the skin saggy, God will make a way to fix it. I am not longer afraid. But to u all who think u r slow. Think about me 1 Year out with only now a 30 pound weight lost and send some love and encouragement my way for I need it! One foot in front of the other, one step at a time, if you fall down get up! My nutritionist told me to use fit day because it has a pie chart of Protein, carbs, and etc. easy to look at. I'm going to start using it tomorrow along with myfitness pal to jump start my weight loss again. -
