My procedure is the 17th and I've been a hot mess...strangely enough my biggest obsession is wondering if my liver will be small enough..I'm on my diet and following it well but I'm still freaked out about it cuz then I can't have my procedure that day :-(

Hi! Has anyone been on Atkins Induction phase as their preop diet? If so, how did it go? My surgeon wants me on a leaner version of it a week before surgery (which is next week) Thanks :-)

Are you getting enough iron? I started losing my hair and found out I was anemic...my doc has me on extra iron and my hair has stopped falling out.

I'm just starting the process and figured I would start trying to find a palatable Protein drink (I can't STAND them ew) and this brand actually tastes like ovaltine (yay). It has fruits, veggies and antioxidants...what I'm wondering is it okay to have those "extras" in the drink or does it have to be straight protein? Thanks! P.S. Also if anyone has any other brands that taste good please let me know :-)

I have this issue too...it was a problem even when I was skinny. I've tried all sorts of things...balms, salves, chafe glide, powder...you name it! My doc recommended Monistat Chafing Relief Powder Gel...it's worked miracles for me (really!). The only downside to this product is that it can be pricey if you use it all the time. Hope you find something that works :-)

Introducing Myself! (A Bit Long)

I'm so sorry for your loss...I lost my father to brain cancer as well. There are no words to describe how devastating it is to lose a parent. Good luck on your journey...it's YOUR time now :-) -

@rockiebarbie I just called them and got very positive info about the surgery. They cover all 3 types of bariatric surgery which is great and I don't need a referral (so no waiting time). I'm stoked :-) and just signed up for the seminar in a week.
