Hi WebChik! I'm doing great! I am down 52 pounds since my surgery and feel great. Dr. Snow and his team are awesome! If I have any questions they are more than happy to answer them. I've been pretty issue, no stuckies or anything like that, but following the eating instructions is key. It hasn't been easy, but is so well worth it. Keep us updated on your scheduling and feel free to ask me anything. I'll be happy to help as best I can. -

Sounds like maybe your port might be putting some pressure on a nerve or two. Mention it to your surgeon, but I believe it is something that will get better with time. I had something similar, but it only lasted a week for me. -

I slept on my right side with a pillow wedged under my tummy for comfort. About a week later I was able to sleep in any position without discomfort.

To me it sounds like he doesn't understand how the band and your body work together. It seems that his expectations as to how much weight and how quickly you lose it are a little on the high side. Just try talking to him and educating him on how the LB works as a tool to assist you and what to expect as far as weight-loss goes. Knowledge is power!

Brawny Band-man!! LOL..I love it! The next con is this October, but i have no idea what to dress as. Need to get on the ball though. I was thinking maybe Wolverine. I need to start growing my chops out now though....lol

8 ounces of prune juice every morning does it for me. It's good and good for me.

Oh and I love to make costumes for comic conventions so it will be nice to pull off a non-heavy character for a change.

No way! For me it just means she is committed to her health and is doing something good for herself. That means she either has confidence or is in the process of building. Good for her is all I can say!

He is 16. The three of us took the MSF course together even though I have been riding since I was 16. It was fun and we had a blast even though it was kinda cold...lol We actually are no longer married. We had been divorced for 12 years at this time, but we were always close, especially when our son was concerned. Oh and she was a former WLS patient. As you can see by the picture she was well on her way to her goal.
