I'm so sorry I'm hoping they did check you for a leak? I'm not sure how far out you are but a friend of mine had vaginal bleeding and pain and she had a hysterectomy years ago...turns out her pain and bleeding was a leak. My thoughts are with you! Please keep trying to find answers!

Bcbs denied me too. I have high blood pressure, diabetes, sleep apnea, deteriorated discs in my spine and a bmi if 40. They said it wasn't * medically neccesary* as well for me. I never won my appeal and I did self pay. I wish you the best.

I would do it if you have time. It's a good precaution and if not used then you donated blood for someone who might ... Win/Win

I've heard great things about it as well but I'm too chicken to look into it and do it.

I think the regrets fade over time. I think when you start seeing results and you remember to look at before pictures and start to feel healthy and lighter, it is then that its easier to say goodbye to how we use to be..the unfortunate truth is we abused our bodies with bad food/too much food and now we are at the other extreme..very little food and its got to be healthy to make it count.
Just hang on, your really early out...give yourself time to accept the changes and embrace them.

They need to run a urinalysis to check for blood in your urine.

I totally understand, I quit about 5 years ago because I was getting bronchitis and pneumonia all the time and quitting was so hard and I didn't have anything else going on in my life like major surgery and life change. It was hard, hard but I did succeed and my lungs got better, thank goodness. I have faith you'll be able to do it when you are ready. Just always remind yourself you're strong enough and you can do it, if needed.

It's a very serious decision. Yes this surgery is life saving but it is major surgery. You really have to decide as an individual what is best for you. I was so sick I wasn't doing anything but dying, living was hard. Now I have my life back. I am forever thankful.

It's tragic and a sad reality and one that is discussed prior to surgery so you can make the best choice for your personal situation.
Surgery is scary. All surgeries.
My heart goes out to all those who suffer complications from any surgery.
I just recently had two emergency surgeries and the complications that I was informed about scared me to death but so did dying from kidney failure. I did the surgeries.
Always make an informed decision but it never is 100% risk free.
And please have compassion, you never know when it will be you needing compassion and help from others.

I'm 4 months out and your daily intake is just like mine. Anymore than that and I'm miserable. I've just come to accept that I will never eat like I used to and actually I'm so glad!!!
