Oh Linda, I'm sorry! Just work to find out what's keeping your iron low and keep eating healthy until your surgery happens. You can still be losing weight until it happens and you will be that much closer to goal; once you have the surgery any weight you have lost won't come back. Positive thoughts!!! You can do this

I wake up so many times during the night. I wake up thinking "oh it must be morning" only to glance at the clock and see its only been an hour since I woke up before...

I hurt for 7 days, it did help to move around but it was hard when being in pain to move. It was not unbearable but it was definitely painful enough for every dose of lortab.

Hardest part of this surgery, diet wise, for me is giving up carbonated drinks. My Dr says never again.

yea I know its hard on you but it seems simple to me; just leave yourself... go for a walk or read a book/magazine in another room. you can do it... other peoples actions is not what got us here. Its up to us to be successful.

I get that sensation once a month around the time of my cycle, if I still had a cycle. I still have my ovaries just not my uterus. Also I know that hernias from surgery can cause that pain as well. Sometimes around the area of our scars. Since the muscle was cut and if it weakened a small bulge could be coming in and out depending on our activity. Some people do have surgery to repair these hernias if they are bad. Also could be bladder issues? Maybe recurrent cystitis not necesarily an infection.

I have family that pushing me to take Phetermine even tho I have high blood pressure and it made my bp sky rocket when I tried it. They said " keep taking it, you need to lose the weight to be healthy" It also caused insomnia and I was not myself. Then I decide on wls and those family members only have negative things to say, sometimes you just can't win with people.

So happy for you younger sleevers, I wish I had done my surgery ten years ago
