Lindsay, let us know what the ER says... For your own safety have them run a CT scan with iv contrast and bloodwork... Don't let them dismiss it as dehydration, even though you probably are dehydrated...you have something going on inside...time to figure out what so you can start healing. Oh yes definitely get up there... Try and rest til hubby gets there but do not be afraid to reach for that phone if things start getting worse for you. I'm on my phone so I can't see your profile. What time zone are you in? It's 5:50 here in Texas. Hopefully not much longer before you can go get much needed help.

Hang in there! This is a normal and common reaction. Talk it out, watch some comedy, read some of our guys on VST comedic responses... Soon it will be a blur in the past. Stay strong!

Do you have a hospital that has a bariatric department near by that you can use their ER department? Then tell them the situation about not getting help and being bounced back n forth...ask for a referrel to a Dr. that can help you. You have to be a thorn in their side sometimes, sometimes not but you don't need to suffer without answers and help. I hope your pcp is helping you but gee your surgeon should be stepping up imo Who is monitoring your condition? Did they say why they couldn't help you or why u needed to call ur primary?

A lot of places give free seminars that go over everything you need/want to know. That is what I did to get started and find out more. Best of luck on your journey ))

Bless your heart! Definitely use the ER services if you feel your getting worse. It seems sometimes we have to demand to be helped. Keep us updated on your progress and know we are here for you if you need to talk!

My father died at 52. I was 26. My daughter was only 6 weeks old. He held his grand daughter 1 time before he died. I want to live 4 my family and 2 see my grandchildren's children.

I've heard great things about it as well but I'm too chicken to look into it and do it.

Holly- me too! after surgery salad became my craving. Before surgery I didn't even want a salad. It's weird the changes this brings. Definitely a good food choice! I'm glad most places offer a grilled chicken salad now days. I think if I slowed down my eating I could get more in... I still have things to work on

Wow you did good. I would be lucky to get down one chicken strip. I wonder if I should be worried. I'm 5 months out!
