lessofmeismore replied to Strangefruit's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
This video really brings it home on how important it is to have a skilled surgeon. Wow they are so close to the spleen, diaphragm and actually move the liver to get to the top of your stomache. Amazing. Just watched it again. -

Asked For About 65 - 70% Removal Rather Then Standard 80 To 85 Percent
lessofmeismore replied to Bryan Whitson's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Bryan, its up to you what you do. I know people on this board are wanting to help you make a decision that would make you successful. If you do anything I would do a bigger bougie size. Something that is a standing option from surgeons. Medical experts who have done the research and know the options. Do not try and create your own percentage. I would say any reputable surgeon would offer you the largest bougie size but if he agrees to let you decide the surgery, that Dr is just in it for the money, not for you and your success. Also just for the record, I had a 32 bougie and I eat fine Kinda wish it was still like it was during healing. And no matter the amount you cut away, we all have to heal, that's a given. Good luck to you and think skinny thoughts -
Can you describe the pain your having; location, duration, type How do you feel during Fluid intake... we know our bodies more than we think, what do you feel is going on? With all this being said; don't despair...4 weeks is still early in the game. I still hurt at 4 weeks, off and on, some days better some days worse. I'm praying for you!

What tests did your Dr run before he said there is nothing he can do for you? Have you had an Endoscope? Have you had an xray? Have you had a cat scan with contrast? Blood-work? What were the results of your tests? I will definitely pray for you but let us know what tests have been done

lessofmeismore replied to Bryan Whitson's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm satisfied completely after about 5-10 minutes of eatting. It takes my family (normal tummies) forever to eat. I'm faster, better, stronger, than I ever was I used to spend too much time at the table. Not anymore, I'm satisfied happy and on my way in minutes -

I thought high levels caused weight gain. But I was thinking cortisol was a stress hormone? I must be thinking of something else because you would want a stress hormone to be low. Good luck on your journey, I bet someone will know the answer and help you out
