Liquid & Powder Protein.. Is It The Same?

I bought the advocare meal replacement shakes for pre op..I bought them thru my surgeons office...they tasted great and filled me up. Try gnc or vitamin shoppe...they can help you with the High protein meal replacements and also your whey isolate protein shakes for after surgery. Remember before surgery/pre op you can use any protein type...after surgery use whey isolate!! )

Liquid & Powder Protein.. Is It The Same?

I believe during the pre op phase you are suppose to use a meal replacement protein mix/drink. This is to help you remain full and also to give you tons of needed vitamins. It's after surgery you start the protein mix/shake that is not a meal replacement. Hope this helps. I'm typing on a new device so I'm sorry if my explaination is short Best of luck!!

    Pre Op..some Concerns

Exactly, that's my thoughts too about my "friend" It is definitely easier after the surgery, its mostly my mind and emotions needing food. Before surgery you are battling real hunger and mind/emotions. The sleeve stops me now when my mind wins and I start to eat...I could never have succeeded without the surgery. Its like having an extra soldier with you, when your at war.

    Pre Op..some Concerns

I totally understand...it is hard and I'm glad you found this site Lots of support here...I am/was a food addict. I ate for every reason under the sun not just for hunger. I feared this surgery wouldn't work for me because I ate even when I didn't feel hungry. But here I am 75 lbs lighter in 6 months not to mention my improved health. I believe you will be a great success!!

    Omg I Slimmed

Melinda -Your stomache is swollen and inflamed for a while after surgery...as the swelling goes down you will be able to tolerate a little more food... It's all relative to what your eating, how slow u eat, how well u chew, how far post op you are...
