I eat the whole egg. A lot of people just eat egg whites but we consume so little I think the whole egg is definitely ok.

I just wanted people to know about Body Fortress Whey Isolate powder vanilla creme... It's at wal mart and is very good. Taste just like a vanilla milk shake. Make sure you buy the canister that says whey isolate vanilla creme... They have whey protein that is not the kind we can absorb so look for the whey isolate on the container.

Protein Powder That's Yummy

You can use it since it has whey protein isolate in it, just try next purchase to get whey protein isolate as it is absorbed easier after your surgery. -

What Doctor Do I Call? (Tmi Warning)
lessofmeismore replied to Texarkolina's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Definitely warrants a Dr. call...either your surgeon or your primary. It's an indicator of potential if not current liver problems. Best to get that ruled out and some professional intervention to get you recovering. Best of luck to you, so sorry you are going through this -
Help, Vomiting Yellow Bile With Traces Of Bright Red Blood
lessofmeismore replied to Globetrotter's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I know you're two years post op but begin taking a ppi/ acid reducer again...take for at least 1 month. Also, increase your water intake. Drink 64oz minimum and start a daily regimen of a dose of miralax and 8oz of fluids each morning. Hopefully you can speak with your surgeon and obtain his suggestions. I hope everything resolves. Let us know how you're doing... -

Help, Vomiting Yellow Bile With Traces Of Bright Red Blood
lessofmeismore replied to Globetrotter's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Yes, you can still have a bowel movement with a partial blockage. A complete blockage would be painful and you would not pass gas or be able to have a bm... There are other causes that make you vomit bile... I believe it is a concern you should definitely consult your Dr. about or visit an urgent care clinic. If the blood just started appearing and was not always present then it could be a result of the vomiting...maybe a slight tear in your esophagus. Please let us know how your doing. -
Help, Vomiting Yellow Bile With Traces Of Bright Red Blood
lessofmeismore replied to Globetrotter's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
There are many concerning reasons for vomiting bile. The concerning one is a small bowel obstruction which unfortunately can happen with the sleeve at any stage. Our pyloric valves naturally are open while sleeping, are you waking up needing to vomit? Straight from bed or just in the a.m.? -

Help! This Is Not Working.
lessofmeismore replied to wendy88's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Wendy, its okay your body is just adjusting. I went through it! I struggled thinking why am I not losing but it came in mysterious ways! Stay positive, your doing great! you started two weeks earlier than your surgery so technically you are hitting a slow down period. These stalls happen but trust me your body is burning fat and the surgery is working. Your weight loss so far is excellent! Try not to be hard on your self or compare...its a different ride for everyone but we all lose and we all stall. Your doing great girl!!!!! Keep up what your doing, the pay off will be amazing!!! Patience -

I've only tried scrambled. I will need to try hard boiled without the yoke and see how I do... -
I'm 6 months out but I've been able to eat a 5oz container of yogurt since 4 weeks...I didn't try it sooner but I'm thinking you shouldn't worry. You will hurt if you hurt your sleeve. Congrats on getting sleeved

I'm 6 months and I'm lucky if I eat the whole egg before feeling too full. Eggs definitely are a battle. -
Lux-stay strong and keep up with your liquids. I'm keeping you in my prayers!
