I know it's frustrating trying to pin point what it is after surgery. I remember my body hurting all over during the rapid weight loss period. It seems my muscles were trying to adjust along with the weight distribution. I would still call your surgeon just so they can make an assessment. I just worry for people about their water intake because I still have problems getting my fluids in and my kidneys paid the price. Definitely keep up with fluids

Flu vs leak symptom
lessofmeismore replied to Fiddleman's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Wishing you well!! Take care of yourself. I hope your back to 100% very soon! -
It could be a lot of different things. For now I would suggest drinking lots of water and contact your surgeon. Have you ever had back problems or kidney stones?

My avi hasn't changed for a long long while but I sure have, I'm still not that confident with myself so I hide I guess some things don't change, I thought I might lose some of this shyness with the weight loss but I still feel blah -
Hang in there sweetheart... You're going to be okay... I promise

Your almost three months out , you don't have a leak or internal bleeding. Just stay calm, they will figure it out. Just breathe And get someone up there with you so they will give you pain meds
-
They will check your blood work to make sure your levels are ok... Leg cramps can be caused from low potassium , they will be able to see all your levels They should also get you a ct scan to check your gallbladder and kidneys and bowels Your pretty far out for a leak so I think it's something else
-
They will most likely get your pain under control then give you a ct scan and check your gallbladder, kidneys, and make sure you don't have a bowel blockage. I'm sorry your hurting
-
You can have pain meds like lortab, hydrocodone etc If you get an iv pain med you can have all of them even torodal because its intravenous

Local practice cant accept mx patients?
lessofmeismore replied to amytug's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
It's hard to get any doctor to see you after another dr has operated on you. I don't see it being just a Mexico surgeon thing. I wouldn't let her worry you. Write down everything pros and cons and make the best decision for you. -
I constantly wet my mouth while working out. Being on a high Protein low carb diet has made my mouth dry dry dry and when it gets bad while working out I feel nauseated. I'm actually adding more carbs lately like more veggies and salads. It's helped a lot with the dry mouth.

Laura , I used to have a friend that imagined wild dogs chasing her when we were on the steppers. My legs would be burning so bad and she was like don't stop the dogs are coming lol I stopped anyways lol I am always afraid now of wild dogs chasing me and I can't out run them. Hehe I would get off that machine and my legs felt like wet noodles. As for hydration, I still struggle but I can drink more at one time now. I just need to carry water with me like I did in the beginning.

Never thought about the standing naked part... Ugh that part alone terrifies me -
I'm hoping for some kind of positive outcome to this as well. It's nice to have lost the weight int face but the neck area doesn't look so good.

sleeved Saturday, have barely eaten anything and up 1 lb
lessofmeismore replied to arthritis_me's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Just be aware that your abdomen will be swollen for quite a while as well. The first six weeks stay off the scale and wear comfy clothes. Your body is recovering from a major trauma. You will do great Don't cause any extra worry for yourself -
Mexico Sleevers - how is US post-op support?
lessofmeismore replied to theosmom's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This is just a little bit of what I've experienced with the sleeve. I've been to three er departments And spent 7 days in the hospital and two surgeries and not one single medical person I met knew what a sleeve gastrectomy was ... They either called me a bypass patient or a band patient... It was so frustrating. Sorry I know that wasn't your question. But just thought I would share my experience. -
