I was not nervous at all until today. I started packing last night...I think that's what made it finally feel real. You'll probably be to nervous/excited to eat anyways lol. Thankfully my check in is at 7:45 am or I would drive myself crazy with anticipation! Good luck!

I believe it is a requirement. I found out I had mild apnea and they were pretty insistent that I get a CPAP and wouldn't sign off on the surgery until I was able to use it through the night. -
Had my pre op this morning. Having surgery in 7 days!! Can't wait.

Hi All, I have been lurking on this board since I made the decision in April to be sleeved. I will be having surgery on July 18th! I am so excited! I am on this board so often and have learned so much about what to expect and what to prepare for. I'm feeling very confident and ready for surgery! I look forward each day to see how everyone is doing after their surgery and love hearing about everyone's successes! I am inspired by you all! S

I had my first initial appointment with the Dr. at the beginning of May. I was approved by insurance the last week in June (approved in 3 days!). After that I was given a surgery date of July 18th. In between all of that I had a ton of appointments. One thing I would recommend is that you find out if you have sleep apnea as soon as possible. I started that process a month before my first appointment and that was the last thing we were waiting on before I could get my surgery date. Good Luck! -

I'm getting sleeved by Dr. Billing this month as well. Can't wait! My experience with Puget Sound has been great. Everybody I have been in contact with there has been wonderful... -

I have United Healthcare Choice Plus and was approved in 3 days. I did not have to do a 6 month supervised diet either. I was pleasantly surprised. I thought for sure I was going to have issues. S
