Ok. So say months after post op could you have a handful Of popcorn? It may be enuf to feel satisfied and not bitter. I see movies maybe 8/ year. And I hope post surgery I'm happy with a handful ( or sneaking in some cheese or something) vs 10 cups with butter like before ??? Is it an off limits food always?

I'm with you. My goal size is 6 . I'd be happy at 8 but secretly I really want to be a 6

I'm leaving Tuesday. And going solo. And I'd be very upset if I ( paying patient) wasn't attended to as well as I could have been during recovery because others there ( non patients) were wanting resources. I think it was poor judgement of the patient with the enterouge and probably Omar's desire to make everyone happy ( and inability to say no) that was the problem .

Do you think the risk of complications is higher in mexico? For those who went or considerered it, was personal safety in mexico a concern?

Ow much should I be trying for after surgery? 10 Laps a day? 2? What's normal?

I'm still pre op. but do you have a vitamix? It's expensive but is the one tool in my kitchen I use daily. Obviously for smoothies. Purées etc. but toss in frozen fruit and a bit of honey and it makes sorbet. Plus. Add veggies. Broth. Cooked chicken. And it will make soup. The motor is so Powerful it can hear it up IN the vitamix. 5 min. So you could add protein ( chicken) to soup.

I have to decide asap... but i've heard nothing but great things about both..... so i'm not sure who to pick. ha ha

well.. i haven't had the surgery yet.. but you said you havent been eating right and you haven't been drinking Water.. i guess i'd start there? I also think because it doesn't seem like you have as much to lose as others... that it may take a little longer? I think its amazing.. you are doing great.... is your goal weight realistic. I'm 5'9" and have never been 130... i was a size 2 at 145... How do your clothes fit? I think sometimes you can be heavy but skinny?

Ow strict /long you did pre op liquid diet to recovery time and complications? Seems like some sail through and others have more symptoms ( pain nausea has etc). I also know some people are strict with dirt and others are more lenient pre op. think there is a correlation?

how far is the drive for you? It could be kinda fun... make a little trip out of it. I'd think you would need to walk around a lot.. so the drive back.. lots of stops and walks.

Oh dang. Asking you of you want Anything? That sucks. Does he know your diet needs post surgery. Just keep picturing yourself your goal size .

I want to pack light. But still bring laptop etc. what should I all bring?
