I was given the eating plan before I went for surgery and then again before I was discharged from the hospital. I put all the info in a small ring binder so I could refer back to it easily. They also gave me a copy of a dietary record to record how much and what I was eating. I made several copies and still use it today. (well most the time) Need to get back in the habit but I've been using My Fitness Pal to keep track of my intake, water and activity. Best wishes to you and God Bless.

I was sleeved on July 30. Since surgery I've lost 48 pounds. Very happy with my choice to go to Mexico and Dr. Garcia. I took an antibacterial body wash with me for showers. I used the hospital gowns and some loose pants while in the hospital. I packed very light since I was traveling alone.

I had surgery with Dr. Garcia on 7/30. I am a nurse and I will tell you I got excellent care. I went alone. The hospital has an 800 number that people can call you or you can call them. The hospital and the Marriott both had free wifi. I kept in contact with family and friends through FB. Eduardo was my coordinator and he also took excellent care of me. No complaints from me. I would do it the same way again if I had it to do over. You have to remember these Mexican doctors do the procedures everyday. They do have lots of experience in bariatric surgery. Hi! I'm looking for 4x and 3x scrubs. I've had my surgery and my scrubs are getting really baggy:)!! I have some 2x and XL but I need the in between.

Girlfriday, I am having surgery with Dr. Garcia on July 30th. I am a nurs. I'm wondering if you remember what meds they gave you? It still amazes me how the Lord works things out when it is His plan. Finances, time off from work, airfare ect... I am truely loved.

At least it sounds like Dr. Garcia is taking action. I work in the health care field. I've always said, "Your staff can make you or break you". I actually know that alot of these doctors are excellent professionals but sometimes people turn away from them because of the hired staff. Best Wishes to you.
