Gmanbat you should stop beating the old folk. Having a smokin wife doesn't mean you can beat people up. Here I always thought you were such a gentle guy.

Gallbladder surgery worse then VSG!
alley-gator replied to ThinnerTiff's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My vsg was a breeze compared to my gallbladder 6 years ago. I was so sick after gallbladder & wasn't too bad with vsg! -

I've never heard of Greek food having quail! Of course, our Greek food is americanized lol not even real lamb. It's a mix of lamb & beef. I sure do love a good gyro with feta though! -
Yes! I've heard people complain about it before. It's like your sleeve isn't awake yet, mine seems to do better after noon.

You've gotten great advice here! Just keep doing what you can to get h2o and protein & it will start again. I am 3 weeks out & just came off a 2 week stall so I get it! -
Warm feeling in my back when I eat?!
alley-gator replied to partofme!'s topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
That's strange all my time reading here I have never heard of that! For the first 2 weeks my ears and then entire head would buzz loudly while eating or drinking but its gone now. There are some strange things that happen after this operation! -

Ditto the above advice...def sounds like a hernia, I would get it checked! -
Oops hit enter too soon... Without thinking of ncis Miami and the horrible acting. Plus, I imagine alligators slithering around everywhere. I think I will stick with Slc where we have no gators.

Gmanbat unfortunately I can never hear dade without thinking of ncis

The air bubble thing happened to me. 3 plus weeks out now, and it isn't nearly so bad! It will get better, just fight through it for a few days -

Actually I do see the humor lol. Maybe if we change the subject people can stop having knee jerk reactions to a thread that was posted as a rant when someone was having a bad day. Mmmm....Greek food.... -
Anyone on antipsychotics?
alley-gator replied to bayareanan's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Some people are just slow losers, but we can't really label you as that unless you tell us how far out you are and how much you have lost so far. Is it possible you are just in a stall? -
I need a little encouragement

Haha. Sorry, autocorrect sucks with fat fingers. It was supposed to say just keep doing your water & protein! -

Keep going you are doing great! Stalls happen to everyone, but it will end sooner or later. You are so close to your goal just keep spongy water & protein & you will get there! It's a tough journey but you ate doing great! -
I so understand being discouraged, unwashed there last week because of a 2 week stall that started at week 2. Don't worry lady, 25 lbs in a few weeks is great, and you'll keep moving forward! Keep working the plan, and you'll be okay!

Last I checked I was allowed to state my opinion. Pretty sure its in the constitution. And if I didn't have time to read a convo I wouldn't be posting on it, especially to chew someone out for crap that's already been hashed out more than once. Thanks for trying to be my mother, though. -

If you had bothered to read the entire post you would have the answers to all these questions. -
What's the deal with head hunger? To me, head hunger has always meant that your mind makes you crave things, and you dont need them, and aren't truly hungry but your mind doesn't realize that. However, people on here many times say that head hunger feels just like real hunger. I don't really get this...if you are feeling the real hunger in your stomach, then how is it in your head? Seems so strange to me. I am 3 weeks out & frequently get hungry especially at night. I've tried drinking water, and I've tried gas reliever and tums & everything people have suggested, but nothing seems to fix it but food. Currently I am on soft foods. So my question is how do I know its real hunger as opposed to food hunger? I am ok with cravings but how do I fix the actual hunger pangs I am feeling if it really is only head hunger?

I've been here for a long time reading and I've seen bb write thousands of comments and if you are reading him mean, then whatever but he isn't mean & doesn't try to come off that way or offend people. He doesn't make flat out mean comments like other b*****s here. He is one of the few I will defend because he is so helpful.

& you know what, every post I read from you is gentle, even if it is a firm, no coddle answer so its strange that people attack you. I guess fat people have more issues than just food.
