My friend that is going with me asked about money. Should she bring travelers checks or is cash good enough? What about Walmart, will they take American money? I will be in Puerto Vallarta.

I haven't been sleeved YET, but when I do, I will keep a diary of my food and water intake and my exercise. I am concerned about getting all my water in. I don't drink that much water now, how am I going to after surgery?

I just want my size to be in the single digits... I want to wear pretty dresses. I'm already looking into reconstructive surgery. Of course, it will have to be out of the country, Costa Rica or Dominican Republic

10 more days!!! I'm super excited. The few people that do know that I'm having this surgery keep asking me is I'm nervous, but I'm NOT. Even going to Mexico, I can't wait! The only negative is I'm going to Mexico and I can't EAT!!

I have no idea how I'm going to drink all my water after my surgery since I don't drink enough now. I know it's hard, but when I did workout, I had more energy, just didn't lose any weight, so I gave up. I like working out. Can't wait to do it again AND lose weight. :-)

Honestly, You would probably gain more energy if you did workout. I know it's hard to find the time, but you have to do this for YOU!! You had the surgery, use the tool.

I'm so glad that I have found 2 Sleeve Sisters, all in the same day!!! SoontobethinKAT and gigi4, I will definitely have to keep in touch with you two. That will help me walk a straight line, for sure.

I'm starting to think that they say 2 weeks, because they know it will take a week to get adjusted to it!! It's like when you have a friend that is always 30 minutes late to everything, you start telling her that everything is 30 minutes earlier so she will be there on time.

Holly, you are a true inspiration!! Thank you for your comment. I feel a bit better, I know I will great after my surgery. I love to exercise, I did it for 9 months and only lost 12 pounds. I was very discourage. I know with this new tool I am giving to myself is going to be life changing.

COOL!! I'm going to Mexico for my surgery. I have been doing videos on Youtube, I'm VSGJean. I love watching other peoples videos, it truly helps knowing that you aren't the only one.

I feel the exact same way. My surgery is on Sept 21. I can't even do the liquid diet right now.

What do I need to bring with me to Mexico? I know I need Gas-X strips, but I haven't been able to find it in the strips. Any advise would be most appreciated and if you can add where you found the products too, that would be great.

How are you doing with the pre-op diet. I started mine yesterday and end up with the worst headache by the end of the day.

I have a friend on FB that sells them. From the pics she posts, looks like they work. I've thought about trying them after I have my surgery to help with my flab...

It has to do with your BMI. My BMI is going to be lower than others at the same weight, because I'm 5'8. I'm still obese and a candidate for the surgery. AND it's different for men than women.....

I weighed today and I am 238. I was 244. My surgery is September 21 in Mexico. I would like to get down to 135.

What is Peppermint oil and where would I find it? I bought the Gas-X strips today. I always have chapstick. I will definitively look into the Biotin. If I take a heating pad, will an America plug work in Mexico or would I need an adapter like you would if you went to Europe?

I'm having my surgery September 21 in Mexico. My insurance won't cover ANY weight-loss. I've done most of my research from watching youtube and using this website. I start my liquid diet on the 7th, not looking forward to that, but I will do what I have to do. Follow me journey on Youtube, VSGJean.

rI've suffered from acid reflux for years. I take the Wal-mart brand(s) of Zantac 150mg times 2 and Prilosec 20.6mg every night. If it is bad during the day I will take two of the Prilosec. I also have Tums/Rolaids "smoothies". I usually don't have to eat the Rolaids, but if it's bad at night, they are nice to have. Just ask the Pharmacist what the prescription dosage is for the OTC meds. I hope that helps. I did take Nexium, but my crappy insurance told me to take OTC meds.

I'm having my sleeve done on the 21st. I'm so excited and I wish the day would hurry up and get here. I start my liquid diet on Friday the 7th. It seems like time is going by so slow.....
