    Fabulous February!

I have my surgery scheduled for February 22. Little nervous but excited to start this chapter in my life.
  3. Wow congrats!! I never thought of stair pushups. I can't do normal pushups, so I'm totally going to try the stair idea and hope it works for me. Thanks & GL on the rest of the weight loss.
  4. I started doing something similar, just not as in depth as you. But hell... That seems like a better idea. Thanks! Lol
  5. finally updating my profile with pics!

    300lbs + Fat Girl

So disgusted with myself. Hate being the fat girl. Can't wait for my sleeve or bypass (whichever surgeon thinks is best for me).

    Childhood

What I Won't Miss About Being Fat...

Great list. Definitely going to take some of what you listed & add a few of my own & give it to family that can't understand (*facepalm*) why I want WLS.

    Did You Always Know?

But to answer you're question, no I didnt imagine myself to be the fat girl my entire life thats why I started looking into options about 2 years ago.

    Did You Always Know?

I have been obese my entire life even as a kid. To be honest I don't even know what skinny is because i've always been the overweight one. Looking back on photos I say wow wish i was that thin again...even if it was technically considered fat.

    Any Shorties?

I'm also a shortie 5'2". Highest weight 315. Currently going through the whole process & can't wait to start my new life with the sleeve. Hearing all the success stories makes me cry tears of joy. Can't wait to be a success story too - no ifs, ands, or buts - I will be one & wont stop until I achieve what I thought was impossible before. *high five to every past, present, and future sleever*
  13. My personal pick is the sleeve. My reason is because it seems less complicated then the bypass. With the sleeve the doctor is only touching your stomach. The bypass they are playing with your intestines too which for some reason scares me.

    Caring For My Pet

I personally would not. From what I've read you will be doing a lot of walking after surgery to avoid blood clots. What better walking companion than your own dog. Plus, I'm sure there are ways you could satisfy your dogs active needs without injuring yourself.
