I have been the fat overweight kid my entire life. The weight gain continued into my adulthood. I've tried numerous times to gain control of it, but each and every time I just gained the weight back. I've finally decided enough is enough. I'm tired of being short of breath and have all these pains in my joints doing the simplest things. I want to regain my life back & live the life I've always dreamed of that is why I consulted with my doctor and got a referral. WOOT!! :D

No ifs, ands, or buts, I will be a success story. Failure is not an option to me. My niece & nephews need me to be healthy and active to keep up with them instead of sitting off on the sidelines. They are old enough to recognize who is fat and who is skinny. I don't want them to be embarrassed on having a fat aunt.

I want to change for myself too. I'm always too afraid of what people think of me. I'm an aspiring photography ... or was... I am just too embarrassed to continue in the field even though I love taking photographs. I don't want clients to see an overweight photographer who can't breathe or run like the wind & keep up. I also want to run a marathon some day but the weight I am at the moment is holding me back.

2012-2013 will be a whole new me I promise. Finally getting my life back!!
