Love to hear your story, thank you! You give me inspiration. I feel so down right now and its only my first week. I think its the lack of protein so I got some Isopure which helped. Keep going, you rock!!!

I got home today from hospital I was sleeved on Friday. I'm feeling pretty good I have my pain meds, nausea medicine, and Prilosec so I think I'm pretty good with that department. I'm with a lot of you in getting all my liquids in, so hard! But with sleeping because of meds, it's really super hard. Any suggestions? I want to follow everything through exactly and I feel like this isn't good.

That's a good question I would like to know as well. I am only 3 days post op.

Yes I have been working at getting in all the liquids and eating my oh so nummie (ha ha) broth. I love that I get to choose from chicken and beef, woo hoo-- the highlight of my eating...But you know I am really excited about getting the weight off and seeing results! I am just glad the hard part is over and I can start the rest! I love this forum thanks for your responses! By the way did you gain weight when you got home from the hospital? I got on the scale right when I got home yesterday from the hospital and it said I gained 4 lbs LOL!!!

Oh wow perhaps it depends on the medicines you are taking then. You may want to call the doctor and find out. Rather be safe than sorry.

No I continued my pills. Its the day off surgery that you don't take them.

I start my 10 day pre-op diet today, bleb..of course not happy about it..LOL. Things are only going to get better from here! Yeah!!!! Good luck to you.

I feel the same way as you did, Tonibugg the recovery, the horror stories...I am so nervous! I cry thinking about everything and I am not even at the hospital yet! I start my pre-op all liquids diet on Tuesday...My surgery date is July 13th, I am excited but scared as hell! Especially after reading some of peoples issues...But I know its better than the way I am now. I love my surgeon. He is awesome, highly recommend and funny, seems to genuinelly care about me. I feel as though it could go both ways about your surgeon, just go with your gut!

I am scared as heck too. My surgery date is July 13, yes Friday the 13th. This is a great day for me and yes I picked it. I have a 6 month old and a 6 year old (who I had 10 years after first trying to get prego) and I am obese. This is something that I have been contemplating for over 3 years now and finally have decided to do it. I am doing this for myself, first and my babies second. I want to be here for them, with them, and do the things they like to do..play, run and be silly. I am scared of anytime going under, however I have total faith in my doctor, I even made him meet my daughters, I know crazy uh? However,I am more scared of what if I don't do the surgery what is going to happen to me? I have been obese all my life and I want to live. I am no spring chicken, 39 years old but I still have a life that I want to live. I have read such good things on here, thank you. I have also read the bad, but with a 1% chance I am going to risk it. Because there is a greater risk for other things to kill me at this point. I am getting more and more excited whereas a month ago I was thinking I shouldn't do this to myself, what if, what if...But I am over it...Anyways, be POSITIVE, pray and be excited. Think of the after, rather than now ~
