Girl, go for it and enjoy. I use to feel that way also, but my husband reminds me daily of how beautiful I am and how much he loves, loves my body.
-
Unjury has a website that will give you various recipes that you can follow.
-
Unjury is the best that I have tried. 21 grams protein, and the best part the unflavored has not taste what so ever. I use it every morning in my coffee. The chocolate splendor in your coffee is like having a mocha coffee or add to chocolate milk for a delicious milkshake. I love, love, love this stuff. I just purchased a new container. Good luck.
-
Try drinking Unjury which is a protien chicken noodle soup 21grams, it sounds like your not getting enough protein to keep you full. Unfortunately, the band doesn't change our mindset. Good Luck with your new life journey.

5 months post-op no fill 52 pounds lost. My surgeon says that there are time when the band is placed in the perfect spot and no fills may be needed for up to a year. Good luck

A Little Discouraged...suggestions?
Renee2817 replied to ShazamLOL's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
It seems that your body has adjusted to your routine. Try Jillian Michaels "30 shred". I am sure you will get results with that. Good luck and congrates on the current weight loss. Looking forward to being at that mark one day. -
Banded June 5- Down 47 Lbs Since Surgery But Frustrated
Renee2817 replied to shellvw's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
You are doing really, really, great. Don't be so hard on yourself. When we set unrealistic goals for ourselves that's when we beat ourselves up. Just know that when it's all said and done you will have accomplished your goals, not only for weight loss but everything else in your life. Take one day at a time and your frustration will subside. Good luck. -
Dandelion Root Tea And Cranberry Juice
Renee2817 replied to lilbrigy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'll have to try it. I am retaining fluid. Looking to try anything that helps. Thanks -
Hi Bandsters~ do you ever get the feeling that you're going backwards with weight loss?. I know that for us women, we retain fluid from everything that we eat. I watch my salt intake as well as my carbs/sugars. Not sure what's going on. Are there any other bandster that have experienced this problem? If so any suggestions would help.

Unjury is the best!!! the unflavored is good because you can add to anything. I add to my coffee every morning and sometimes have a chocolate shake for lunch. Give it a try, I am sure that you will like it. Good luck

Not sure what's going on. hopefully it won't last much longer. Thanks again for your input.

I was panicked to in the beginning. I wasn't sure what to expect after the surgery. I did end up in AICU for almost a week. but after that I have been doing great. down 47 pounds since May, a little slow going for me, but as long as I am still losing about 1.5 lbs a week. I am good. You will get there, just be patient and it will all come naturally for you. I haven't felt this good in 20 years. Good luck to you.

I Messed Up... Bad :(
Renee2817 replied to chellbell's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Not time for foods, yet, you should be on yor liquid diet for at least 2 weeks then soft for 2-3 weeks, than slowly adding in solids. Good luck. -
Just keep going, my surgeon tells me that I am doing great. I've lost 47 lbs 5 months. Not counting the week I spent in AICU after the surgery. Slow is good, because you want it to stay off. Stay on the journey and you will get there.

Way to go! you look great.

Is Your Diabetes Better Or Gone After Lbs
Renee2817 replied to genny's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I am still in the fight against diabetes. However my doctors tell me that I am not the usual diabetic patient. Each patient is different, so talk with the surgeon and endocrinologist. they should be able to point you in the right direction. -
There Is No Question, For Me, Lapband Will Work! And Here's How I Know...
Renee2817 replied to LiveStrong41's topic in Fitness & Exercise
Good for you, way to go...keep up the good work. I am on the same routine and I've lost 47 pounds 4 months post op. Congrats! -
WTG--I went to Walmart last week and tried on new clothes, M-L shirt and 18 pants. Originally size 24. My husband was just as excited as I was. His comment, I saw it all along, keep up the good work he said.

I Dont Know Anymore
Renee2817 replied to nursesweetc's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I know how you feel, my husband felt the same way and I didn't want to discuss it with him at first. But I got through it and was able to talk to him, he had his doubts and fears, he said that as long as I was okay and going to be safe, that he was fine with the surgery, His main concern was my safety. So talk to your boyfriend I am sure that he will be okay, he just wants to be sure that you are going to be safe. Good luck with the surgery and know that I am praying for you. -
I have been banded since May 7, 2012, and have not had to have a fill yet. I have lost a total of 45 lbs and am feeling great. I went back to the surgeon 2 weeks ago, who informed me that I may never need a fill. not showing signs of hunger. I walk 3-4 times a week for 30-40 minutes and I have a ski machine that I do 2 times a week for 30-40 min. I keep a food journal faithfully and I check the labels of everything that I eat. I am so proud of my self, I know that without the band I would not have been able to do this. Good luck to my Bandster family. We can do it!

To those who feel that I have offended them an anyway because they have fills done, I apologize that was not my intent. But I am proud of myself because of it. I may one day need a fill if I do I will have it without a problem. There is no failure if you have a fill or not. the only failure is having the band and not making the most of it, I eat what I want, I just know when to stop, when I am full. The band is designed to teach us how to eat, if we didn't need help with that then none of us would be banded. My success was posted to encourage bandsters, not to make them feel like a failure. Fill or no fill, we are all here on this journey together.
