Hi LB family~ it's been a year since I've had my surgery and I have 28 pounds remaining to meet my goal. I've tried everything, has any other bandsters been met with this challenge? Any advice you could give would be great. Thanks. Also, I have never had a fill. -

You wonderful ladies will do great!....just know that the pounds didn't come over night and they will not fall off over night. Be encouraged and know that this is a New Life Journey...not a diet. Good luck and much success to you all. -

I've been banded for one year. When I first got banded, my doctor wasn't sure if I would be able to do this, when I went for my last appt. for the year, he told me how I amazed him and that, with me having diabetes it was a up hill battle. The fact that I was able to do this without having a fill he said that is what really impressed him. It hasn't been easy, but I am doing this. Praise God! thank you family for your kind words. Good luck to you all, on your new life journey.

From what you are saying, it sounds to me as if you need some type of counseling. You have way too much going on in your life to concentrate on you. Talk with your doctor to see if he can refer you to a counselor, once you gotten things off of your mind, to can put your mind to losing weight and taking care of you.

Congratulations! I just reached one-derland myself, two days ago. Be encouraged and keep up the good work.
