Don't jump the gun. I have had back problems for over 40 years from a fall at home. I had a lamectomy when I literaly could not walk. My disc above has gone also with a lot of pain that I hope losing weight will help. It could be severe stenosis also. So don't worry about a tumor until you have a diagnosis. Best of luck.

I called Medicare a second time and they acted ignorant to the fact that there was ever a decision made. Of course the reps on the phone are the last to know.

You poor thing. This has to be very scary for you. Where do you live? Who was your surgeon? Sounds like they made the sleeve too small. You are in my prayers. Best of luck. I'm sure everything will be alright.

If you retained all that water, I would go visit your PCP and discuss this with them. That would put your mind at ease.

You can do it. When I quit smoking after 35 years I kept telling myself "I never want to go thru this again". I have been smoke free 12 years. Doing both at the same time is quite a feat. You will be in my prayers.

Have you reseached the new doctor? Which one is more experienced? This should be the most important question. Good luck.

As my NUT said at a meeting, Watch totally what you eat with no treats or hardly any until you reach goal. Then you can figure out what your body will tolerate without gaining weight. Jeeni you just started your journey, don't sabotage yourself right at the beginning. I'm pre-op so I don't know what you are going through but I hope I can refrain from eating all the things that got me hear in the first place, bacause it is not a good place.
