It is so good to hear from the June sleevers who have gone so far, all seems to be going well! June 18th is coming along quickly. As everyone else is noting I too am a little nervous and anxious, glad I am normal. Good luck to the June 7th sleevers ((Hugs)).

I am from Calgary, Canada and going to Mexico for July 18th. I am a little nervous and anxious but so excited too. I start my pre-op diet in 1 week, I have heard about single serving protein packets and wondered where I can buy some.

Confirmed June 18th, paid the deposit, start the prep on the 11th! This is really going to happen! Very excited to start a new a new life!!!

It is sort of strange, sounds like I am getting the same package you had, same hotel, same hospital and with Dr. Garcia. Different first names? Who was your coordinator?

Has anyone here gone to Dr. Ismael Cabrera Garcia? I found him through Medical Tourism.

I ahve yet to get my sleeve and plan to prep my skin with some oils that are touted to help with wrinkles etc... I hope it helps.

I think in different hospitals, waht hotel will you be at? Would love to have a sip of soup with you.

I will be in TJ June 17th, at the Mi hospital with Dr.Garcia, alone. Is anyone else going to be there that week? A little anxious, nervous I have not traveled alone before. Cheers

I have been in contact with a few of the agencies and have narrowed it down to Dr. Almanza (Tijuana) and Dr. Castenda (Puerto Vallarta). I would like to hear some pros and cons. I will be going alone and both have offered June dates. Thanks for your help! Gail

I was just confirmed for June 18th with Dr. Garcia in Tijuana! Whoop! Whoop!

My decision is made due to the fact that it is a full service hospital. I am certain I will not need the services but grateful they are close by just to be safe.

I have been reading the posts as I too am searching for a great experience. I thought I would go to Dr. Garcia, did you know that there are more that one Dr. Garcia? out of the same hospital? Aarrgg I hope I chose well. Dr. I. Cabrera Garcia. Regene is the coordinator. Anyone? Anyone?

Still waiting to be approved for June 18th in Tijuana with Dr. Garcia. Fingers crossed.

Thank you for the responses, I think I have decided on Dr. I.C.Garcia in Tijuana. Waiting to see if I am approved and if he is available on the dates I would like. I am very excited, watched a few vidios of the procedure as a nurse it is just a little gross. I have read the good the bad and everything in between. My real decision came when I watched as my poor 73yr old mother start yet another diet. I decided that I had to do something. I have 2 aquaintences who have had the sleeve only for a couple of months but they said they wish they did it sooner. Talk to you soon Gail

I hear ya!! I keep finding more and more information, now I am looking at Dr.Garcia. I have read good things about Dr. Almanza the only consideration I have is the clinic vs hospital........ Cheers Gail PS hoping to be sleeved in June.
