  1. I was sleeved 10/9/12 and am down 61 pounds. Live in Chelmsford.
  2. my doctor said at my 3 week post op appointment I could ride and go easy. Unfortunately, between the doctors appointment and when I could ride I hurt my knee. Can't wait to get back on though-down 60 pounds since the last time I rode so it will feel completely different!

    NSVs!

I had two this weekend-I flew on Friday night and not only could I buckle the seatbelt, I had to significantly tighten it. And there was room in the seat. I used to be squeezed in and had to hide that the seatbelt wouldn't fasten because I did not want to ask for an extension... I went shopping today and bought myself some new workout clothes-in the "ladies" section, not the plus size. I was sleeved on October 9 and have lost 58 pounds. I am happy with my loss today, but am in a stall so it was great to have some other signs that I am making progress!

HELP! 6 weeks and NO LOSS!

I don't know if this helps but I was sleeved on October 9 and have lost 58. I haven't lost anything for a month and have actually bounced up a pound. I go to the doctor on Thursday and am scared what he is going to say. This is my second stall, but what I learned with the last one is that when I stalled, everything seemed to tighten up and my clothes got big. That is what is happening now-the pants that I bought in January are now huge. I know it is scary-but maybe your body is just taking a timeout to catch up with the huge loss you have had so far. Be honest with your eating and your fluids (I know I haven't been tracking and need to!) and it will come off. I am starting to freak out a bit so I am writing this as much to encourage myself as I am you!!

    chewable multi-vitamin

I was taking one of the Bariatric chewables preop and was fine, but it made me gag post op. I have no problem with Flintstones chewables-and my nut actually recommended them. Much less expensive too!

    Broke Stall!

Thank goodness for this board-I was beginning to think that this was it and I wasn't going to lose any more. Very easy to slip into old thought/eating patterns! I do notice that my clothes got significantly bigger during the stall, so everything people have said on here is true. For those of you that are in a stall, don't give up! It will break, just keep at it.
  7. I was sleeved on October 9, and had been in a stall for just about a month-like the scales would NOT move. Happy to say that I have broken the stall with a 3.4 pound loss this morning, for a total of 47.7! Most importantly, my blood pressure is down significantly and I have so many non-sleeve victories. My husband actually complimented my butt last night! To be coming out of the holidays at the same weight was a blessing, but to now have a loss is just great!

    Oct 9Th Anyone?

Ok dropped 2more pounds and learned my lesson-I only need to weigh once a week. It is weird but my stomach feels different this morning-almost tighter.

    Oct 9Th Anyone?

Just checking in-how is everyone doing? I have surprisingly little pain, just some twinges here and there but have no energy. I am getting in my fluids and protein. I need to stop weighing myself because I haven't lost a pound this week-I lost 9 between Tuesday and Sunday then nothing.

    October Sleevers! Announce Yourselves

I switched protein powders to something that wasn't as intense and has 21 g. Also using almond milk instead of skim milk. Definitely hurts if I drink too fast though!

    October Sleevers! Announce Yourselves

I am also day 6 postop. No pain, nausea or other issues. Making my protein goal (it takes awhile) and fluid goals. I feel like I am constantly sipping something and am full. But otherwise feel pretty darn good!

    5 Days Post Op

There is a whey shake called Terra's Whey at Whole Foods that has 21 g before you mix it with milk. It isn't super thick so that helps. I drink so slowly that I only make 4 oz at a time. Chicken bouillon and hot tea are helping me get in fluids. Hot is doing better than cold right now.

    Oct Sleevers

I was sleeved on Oct. 9 and came home from the hospital today. The first night I started vomiting, but they were right on top on the nausea, and then my heart rate and blood pressure spiked and they kept me another night just to make sure all is well. I am surprised that it isn't more painful and that I feel better than I expected. I am tired and just trying to remember to sip rather than drink is harder than I thought it would be. I am walking some but trying not to overdo it. Best wishes to all of those coming up-it is not as bad as I expected!
