I have struggled with weight all my life. Even as a baby I was always bigger than my twin sister. It has been so hard with teasing in school and when you can tell people are staring at your gut rather then your face and secretly or outwardly judging you. It made my self esteem crash. I suffered with depression and anger a lot of my life. I also became an emotional eater which you can imagine increased my weight as well as the humiliation. I am 21 years old and am ready to take the steps to finally become in control of my life. I have found a man that accepts me for who I am and is verging loving. But I don't feel lovable. I want this for myself as well as my relationship and my future family. I have never wanted something to work out in my life so bad as this. I am planning on getting married in September 2012 and am super excited to start his chapter but want to be able to be smaller in my wedding dress.
Some people don't realize that overweight people are not just those that eat too much, some have genetic issues as well. I have tried multiple excersise and weight loss programs and they never latest. I would loss some weight but it would come back. This besides my upcoming marriage is one of the smartest decisions of my life. Wish me luck!
