    Welcome tlj483 & Grek79Ital! Glad to see more guys on here! The board is pretty sporadic with posts, maybe it'll start being a little more lively! Johnathan Btw- since I haven't posted an update in quite some time, u started at 274, and am now down to 195 just 5 months later!! Only about 25ish to go!! Couldn't be happier to have made this decision!! Good luck to everyone that has just started out!

    Had the seminar today, consult two weeks from today and should have a surgery date within a week of that(since its cash). Am really getting excited! I was hoping to find some patients of his (I know your out there! Lol) so that I can just hear your experiences with him and the staff. Anything that you think of? Does he require the liquid diet before? I didn't think to ask that today for some reason. I know he is a great Dr, as he's been doing this a long time and was one of the 20 to do the FDA trials, and his cash price is amazing at $10,999. Thanks for all your input! Johnathan

    I am just completely over DirecTV! I hate their whole home DVR CRAP! we have 2 DVR's yet we can't watch tv unless their is less than 2 shows recording..they said we could record up to 5 at a time! Thankfully they are coming out to add a new DVR box for our new tv b/c I can't stand not being able to even turn the channel and it not giving me an option to cancel a recording to be able to change the channel! STUPID!

    Just thought I would update. I started at 274 and am now at 198! Wow that feels good! I've lost 76 lbs since July 25th, that'll be 5 months on Christmas. Was really wanting 185 by first of year but I'm good with the track I'm on. I stalled for a Few weeks. And I hated it!! But it's over thankfully!

    I am so happy to hear that for you!! I only had 1 bad response from a "Friend". The week or so before surgery, I went to Gondolier, which is an Italian restaurant that has absolutely amazing pizza, specifically the one I love, Feta, Mozzarella & Spinach! Well I took a pic of the pizza & said..."Gonna miss this pizza..last one for at least a few months!!" He responds with something to the effect of, "Well if your just gonna eat pizza again in a few months what is the point of even having the surgery." Needless to say, that lead me to responding, and then he got personal and told me I was using the money we received after my brother died for personal gain, etc etc...this made me EXTREMELY mad because it was only 4 months after he passed, I cared for my brother for 2 years before he passed, It wasn't about personal gain, It was about getting myself healthy and being happy with myself. Of course I said quite a few harsh things to him because he has used his mother more than anyone I've ever known! Anyway, I ended up removing him from my friends on facebook and then blocked him and then deleted his phone #. The thing is, we don't need "Friends" like that! Those are not our true friends, Or true friends support us and encourage us, not try to bring us down. Good luck, I hope you are very successful! I am out 17 weeks and am down 70 lbs! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE MY SLEEVE!!!

    Me, Daniel and his cousin John Went to Vaudeville Cafe Stand Up Comedy Club in Chattanooga tonight and seen The Saints & Sinners Comedy Tour starting Matthew Lumpkin & Patrick Jolle. It was AWESOME!! One of the lady's that opened was just GREAT!! As usual I had an awesome time.

    Running around with my Nana G. Trying to get her all her stuff ready for her knee replacement tomorrow morning. She's gonna be in the hospital for at least 3 days. If you think about it please say a prayer for her and the doctors and nurses doing the surgery.

    I have to say that my room actually smells pretty dang good! The carpet shampoo I used was made with Febreze and I LOVE IT! Sorry I'm so caught up on this shampooer lol..Princess was a bad bad BAD GIRL and I had quite a few pee spots on my carpet! Ready for it to come up & get hard wood!

Of course nothing would be off limits and it would all be with confidence that it's just us men, it would be private and I'd be happy to run it. What do y'all think??? Johnathan

    So glad to see you guys using this forum! The other night I posted on Atlanta Craigslist on the M4M section looking for other guys that have had WLS and some FU*#ER flagged It so it was deleted! All i was trying to do was find others that were gay and had WLS so I could find locals to talk to!! Pissed me off but anyway, I hate to hear your friends are not wanting you to lose a certain amount of weight bc u identify with the bear community, other communities, etc. . Honestly I've always been into the muscle bears anyway, just not other overweight guys, I've always liked thinner guys. As you all probably know I had my surgery 28 days ago today(4 weeks ago July 26th) and ive lost 26lbs as of Monday this week. Feeling better about myself already and I think it shows in my personality bc I seem to be getting more attention already, I'm actually on my way to Mississippi now to meet someone I've been talking to for almost 3 years who is the most amazingly sweet and Absolutely GORGEOUS guy!!! I myself have no problem not identifying as a bear anymore, I want to be thin! I want to feel comfortable walking around without a shirt, or getting completely naked and just strutting my stuff in front of other good looking men LOL...Bottom line no matter what, I'm me first, not a bear or anything else first, just me and that's most important, you all remember that! I hope this works out with this guy, we've both wanted each other for a while, We both thought the other wasn't interested after he stopped talking to me when my brother was really sick and before he passed. He stopped talking to me bc he knew I was stressed but I sure wish he had told me how he felt lol. Anyway, wish me luck! I'll post later to update y'all on how it's going.
