I ordered some of the sample packs but didn't get the Crystal Blue bc I had no idea what it tasted like. What does it taste like? Also anyone- does the lemonade taste good and is it thin like lemonade? Not thick like a Protein shake? Thanks! Johnathan

I can imagine the craving of Mashsed Potatoes and Gravy, especially from KFC Bc they are the BEST! But please stick to Dr's orders!!! Don't mess up your sleeve and maybe have an emergency surgery bc you blew out a staple over some mashed potatoes! Good luck! Johnathan

I'm not all that worried with the bed thing, a lot of people have said its compatible with gallbladder surgery and I was pretty sore but it wasn't an issue with being in a bed and I remember I had a big sleigh bed that was way off the floor then. They have a new holiday inn express that's like 139/night and they will have Comfy beds so I think it'll be ok. I actually love it down there when I'm not close to Water and being eaten up by Mosquitos! I've still got scars on my legs where I was eaten up by them when I was there for a few weeks in march! They are awful there but I always get it worse than others! It has something to do with the chemicals my body puts off that is more appealing to those blood suckers. Anyway thanks for saying hi! Im on Chantix, this is Day 10 and I'm still having bad withdrawal and it sucks so bad! I have to stop smoking b4 surgery and I'm starring to worry it just may not be possible. I've only smoked 1/2 cigarette since 9:30 this morning but I want one so bad right now I would kill for it. Anyway, is their anyone else going through this?? Johnathan

I'm not from LA but my bestie lives in Abbeville and she of taking care of me after surgery so that's why I'm having it done in Louisiana. I'm using Dr. Borland in New Iberia. I've talked to people that have used him and they just love him. He has a very reasonable cash price of $9800. it is done outpatient, if you don't live there then you have to stay in a hotel in New Iberia and he comes 2 days and checks on you, his nurse calls you daily and you also have the Dr's home and cell # in case of emergencys or a question arises. (letting y'all know in case anyone on here is looking for a good Dr for self pay) I'm very happy with my choice to use him and my surgery is the 25th in 21 days! So excited!! Anyway I just wanted to say hi and I'll be in your state soon lol Johnathan

I am so sorry! I can't imagine my bestie doing that. She is skinny and beautiful but she is the most loyal friend in the world! Weve bren friends for almost 15 years(since 7th grade!)She is actually who is taking care or me after surgery. I am so sorry you are going through this, it's just not right! Friends are supposed to be just that, a friend! Some people are in our lives forever and some aren't. I would definitely talk to her and share your feelings and see if it can be talked out because being friends that long would be sad for it to come to an end. Good Luck! Johnathan

They definitely are all different because mine Is the same way as yours and only requires clear liquids the day before(and magnesium citrate for umm cleaning lol) Good Luck ladies!!

Wish I had known that bc I ordered from Mybariatricpantry.com and got 11 for 18.95+3.95 shipping + 1 free sample of my choice. I think I may still call them and do another order that way I have enough for after surgery until I figure out what I want and like. I'm excited to try the unjury ones too, specifically the chicken Soup one. My Syntrax will be here on thursday(would have been the 4th but of course it's a holiday lol).

So the other day I went to GNC and grabbed a few things. I got hungry so instrad of gravbing something much worse in fat and carbs, Tonight I'm having a RTD canned shake called "Pure Protein Shake" in Frosty chocolate, it has 35g of protein, 4g carbs, 1g sugar, 170 calories, 1 g of fat. It's not horrible, it is actually chocolatey, and it's not gritty, fairly smooth and reminds me of slim fast. Just thought I'd share! Johnathan

I'm trying hard! I find myself going for food though :-/ its more mental than anything, it's not having something in my hand or mouth. The cravings aren't that bad bc I'm taking the chantix, it's the damn mental part of it! Wish I had never started at 16!

I'm actually feeling a little better tonight, haven't smoked anything since the half a cigarette at 3ish? And that was almost 9 hours ago. I think as long as I have a clean start in the morning it'll be easier. I just have this feeling of anxiety in the pit of my stomach and I hate it! Thank you all for your support!! Johnathan

I found these http://www.bariatricchoice.com/bariatric-lifestyle-bariatric-multivitamins.html which the reviews on the site really recommend but I know I would have to add vitamin D (unless their would be enough in the calcium citrate supplement) bc that's not enough, of course calcium citrate, and Iron taken separately and a B-12 that dissolves under the tongue.

I have searched and researched and just can't figure it out! I like that the band is adjustable, It's the least invasive and I'll lose my weight at a slower pace BUT it scares me that I could have complications bad enoug to have to get it completely taken out and wasting 11K!! I like that the sleeve makes your stomach much smaller and that most of the Hormone that makes you hungry is gone. I like that If their will be complications that it'll happen closer to the beginning but their is no taking it out or wasting the money. Anyone had both? Please If anyone can shed some light on this for me i'd appreciate it! Johnathan
