I am 27 years old and have struggled with my weight since i was about 10 years old.

I have been wanting to have weight loss surgery since 2008 but just haven't been able to afford it without insurance coverage.

I was laid off in 2009 and have since gained about 45lbs! I took care of my brother who was disabled and that is when i started putting on even more weight even though I don't eat a lot.

I've tried many different diets but always end up hitting a plateau and stopping because I get discouraged and then I gain it all back!

As i said before I never could afford this but my brother that i took care of passed away in March 2012 and due to his special needs trust that he had it has afforded me the opportunity
to get this done. He is giving me what he couldn't when he was here

My surgery date is JULY 25th!!! I have never been more excited about anything in my life! I am so ready for this change. My health will improve vastly, and my body..OH MY BODY! It will be great to not be the fat kid anymore! After I lose about 100lb, I am getting a tummy tuck(need to find a good Dr. In Atlanta if anyone wants to recommend one) so that I can finally be the person I have dreamed of being my entire adult life.
