Take it one step at a time talk to the surgery center and or the insurance providers to get a better idea of coverage. Be prepared to jump through hoops, they may make it challenging, Most important, know this is the beginning ......make one positive change at a time as you obtain your information and begin your journey. Never give up, you are so worth being satisfied with yourself and your choices! Nothing comes easy...the reward is obtained in your success based upon your commitment. . YES you CAN! Ashley, I am 3 days after my surgery and it has been some work. I started off tackling one thing at a time. Added exercise, stopped late night snacking, Identified I was an emotional eater stopped that and began to journal my food intake. Do your research find a surgeon who has the best support and stay plugged into this on line community. There is a great deal of support here....it has been a blessing to me! Good luck! -

And yes, I would encourage you to follow your surgeons orders to the tee. I am one day post op and did everything I was told to do, today, day 2, I am on no pain meds and have no gas pains ( which I have read could be horrible)! You can do anything you put your mind to! Keep telling yourself how much you want this. And YES you can! -

I have had a lot of success with syntax nectar. I blend it with sugar free pudding and ice. It makes a. Yummy shake in vanilla and chocolate. Best of all no side effects. -

Awesome...... I will take advantage thanks again! Last day of liquids and blood work today with surgery early tomorrow. This has been a long and tiring process to get to this point. I am so grateful I have seen this through. This diet stuff is fairly easy to me (I have been on so many) I know my challenges will be in finding myself and who i am as the weight goes away. (it's been a great shield) Determined and remaining positive!

Could you share your liquid diets? Currently I am on protein shakes then 2 days pre op on on clear liquids. I am determined to do this. I've had a headache for a good part of these 2 days. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Adorkbl.... did consider that possibility of caffeine usually have only one cup of coffee and almost never any additional fix during the day. I am pre op surgery scheduled on the 20 th next Friday. I am so determined to keep busy and not think about anything I am missing out on but how successful I am determined to be! They have me on all Protein shakes for one week. Babycakes86... Sounds good.I'm going shopping!
