Starting Over!

For me this was not cutting or altering my digestive system and could be reversed. If you continue to follow this forum, you will learn this is a tool and for me has been a lot of work! The weight does not just magically come off, you really have to follow the rules. ( I am getting close to the green zone) If you want something badly you can put your mind to it and you can succeed! This weight loss battle is mostly all a head game for me. I have to remain focused on the prize...a healthier me! I no longer require a sleep machine my blood pressure and sugar are under control.YEA! A thinner me is a healthier me so I will slowly truck forward in my journey knowing my health is at risk. And that keeps me straight most of the time. I do have a moment now and again of cheating, i do get right back on track however. But for the most part I am in this to win! (My health that is!) You have the strength within yourself just change your habits...if you eat while watching TV play cards or exercise while you drink lots of water. You can do this!

With my 3rd fill and now again at my 4th with 5.8cc's in my 14cc band I am beginning to feel that restriction. Last fill it only lasted a week...hoping this is getting close for me to that sweet spot or green zone.! Finding a lot of foods are too difficult to digest and not feeling hungry now. I am finally beyond bandster hell and looking forward to my slow success!hang in there you too will get there this is not immediate so don't loose your objectives and keep your eye on the prize a healthy lifestyle!

I have been at a stand still for a month now lost 4 lbs in 2 months feels soooo slow. I know I am getting close to my sweet spot hoping for a bigger loss this month. Exercise is the key to my success and the better I feel the more I am doing! We can do this!

Just now finding my bruise to be going away after almost 2 weeks. When I obtained my fill the needle was very rough going in seemed to pull at my port and really hurt! I am almost afraid the practitioner my have done some damage to my port! I have not had a prior experience like this! It was a bit upsetting and I may change my fill location. Has anyone had an experience like this?

Look at the bright side....nobody got hurt, it can all be fixed or replaced. I hope your luck gets better...often these things occur to allow you the opportunity to relish in the good that comes along. You will look back at this day and have a good giggle!

Just finished my 4 th fill and much better no pain and hit the port right in the center (thank goodness) funny, they asked me if I would allow a med student do the fill...guess the terrified look on my face said it all! 5.8 cc in my band so looking for the sweet spot to occur to get on with this for real!

For me it was a hard puncture feeling like it was not a direct hit in the center of my port. I have no choice now but to go back to the same practitioner due to all others have left the practice. Wishing I had gone to another surgery center about now! Appointments are cancelled and remade often and it is getting very frustrating putting my time line behind for fills. Sorry, I just needed to vent! Thank you to all of my support system here I am always stopping in to check up on everyone here who are all very supportive and helpful! I have learned so much from this forum that has helped me in my journey!

It is an emotional roller coaster prior to surgery due to the unknown. I too was frightened and had second thoughts.....now .....greatest decision ever...... would do it all again in a heartbeat!

Thank you all for the advise...I will ask for another administrator next fill. All the pain from the severe poke of the needle which caused the bruise is enough for me to seek another professional.

I now know the agony of being stuck! Ouch! Chicken breast is not my friend any longer! I am embracing this stuck episode knowing after 3 fills I am much closer to the green zone!

Great post...I too am banded a few months (July) this last fill being my 3rd has shown me the "green zone" restriction is good feeling full longer actually forgetting to eat with headaches being my hungar trigger. You can do anything you put your mind to! Lots of struggles with eating until now not a lot of weight loss after initial surgery. Had to exercize and journal to continue my small losses, now with this fill so easy! I got this, and you can too. Until we get to the green zone it is just another weight loss diet. I had to go through this journey to discover that. Do not give up and you will be successful!

I too had an issue with my iPad kicking me off with an error. In time all was OK never discovered what the issue was.

Eggs, cheese, tuna, chicken (canned) to name a few.
