I have a $5K deductible on our insurance since we rarely have medical needs and our overall medical care is cheaper. Insurance is just for something major. After the $5K deductible I have a 20% copay. It wasn't that much more to go to Mexico. So new person, you do indeed seem to have a lot of info about PC that she never posted.

You were drawn to a forum you don't enter because your doc's name caught your eye. Got'cha. There are tons and tons of different insurance plans and you just assumed that on the 1 in a million chance, your plan and PC's plan are the same. No, you are correct. This really isn't rocket science. People here aren't nasty, not in the least. We are honest. See the difference?

Nobody find the repetitive posts on 10 threads more annoying than me but I have to ask you something. If you do not usually enter these forums, how did you find this thread in all the threads throughout the world of forums you do not typically enter? You registered and posted today for the first time and amazingly, you were drawn to this thread and your first and only post is here. Wow... amazing how that works. While I agree with you about the concept of paying the grocery store and plumber, I do find your registrations and motives suspect. BTW, how did you know how much PattyChat owes the doc before surgery? I mean, you know it is few hundred dollars. Considering everyone's insurance is different, how did you know how much hers was? How did you know it wasn't $200? Or $3000?

A: I agree. B: It is already an issue. C: None, however they really aren't working on stuff we need anyway but lately they are coming up with more and more of the same drugs. Such as one company just takes old drugs and turns them into once daily dosing. More and more of the newer drugs are turning into flops. Regarding antibiotics they are doing it all wrong IMHO. The newer generations of older drugs are so strong they are killing the patient. That's not the ideal way to kill the bacteria. They need to look at the other completely different approach such as what Dr. Gary "I forget his name" is doing but that's another topic. D: That is happening today.

I don't remember her sock puppet, but I did post it at the time. The day I found out I posted it. I think she was claiming to be a nurse and she was buddying up with Sandy? She was getting married or a son was getting married, some such nonsense. It was the day of or the day after I started the thread about the emergency unfill. Remember that time frame? I can't do fat pics. Even if I had one worthy of posting I can't do it. I can't bring myself to post a photo today let alone from then. Have you see the thread in "Life at or near Goal" forum? It's something like, "OMG, how crazy am I?" That explains a great deal.

Nope, not me. People will believe me or they won't. Makes no difference to me. My doc wants one to show future patients. Ain't gonna happen in this lifetime. Honestly, the only fat photo I have is what I was explaining last night. The only fat photo is of me and my Dad the day before he died. It was the saddest time of my life and ... well, it shows. My Dad is in the photo dying. My weird sister wanted final photos.

Regarding sock puppets... One valid point OHer's do have is that when Dee left she came back daily with a new sock puppet. Everyone was questioning who it was. Every newbie was under suspicion at the time and during THAT time frame I understand. But me being a sock puppet is something that has always annoyed me because I have NEVER EVER done that on ANY fat board. Not once. My writing style would give me away anyway. Words aren't my thing, never have been. I can't change my writing style if my life depended on it. The ones that do have sock puppets and several of them were never suspect. Me, the one who NEVER does that was accused left and right. Not fair! :Banane30:

Well, in all fairness to me and many others, Bozo the clown, Satan himself, or Pickles my Bunny could make a statement about Sandy and quite a few would chime in. She is really REALLY not liked over here by a great number of people.

And to add to my above post, when I have something important to me and it has to be correct I send it to Lauren to edit and fine tune first. Matter of fact she just did it for me yesterday. Spelling and grammar are not my forte, I just don't remember the rules anymore. No excuse, I just don't.
