I wouldn't mind doing that in the least. I'm really not as concerned with price as I am quality and follow up care for the 'puter. My problem is that I haven't found anyone that has been in business a year or better that does this. If they aren't in business in a year when I need them, what good are they to me? Another bandster who lives in the Phoenix area is going to take me shopping Wednesday for computers. Hopefully she can help, I'm a total dolt when it comes to computers.

There are many words I don't care for. The "n" word, the "c" word, lots of 'em. It is a reflection of the person using the word, not those they are referring to.

Should I get bypass? I don't want anything "not home grown" in me.

I don't think loved ones are trying to trash our efforts as much as they have seen us on a gazillion diets that never work. I think they believe the band is just the more expensive version of what isn't going to work so they don't play the game anymore.

I'd buy more Shih Tzus and have a house big enough for them all. And I'd work in bariatrics (not enough money).

You know what I thought was funny, one of the patient coordinators for a doctor was coming up with a bunch of fake IDs and one of the was B A Looser. HA! It just struck me as funny.

I used to have something in my sig about loose and lose but too many people got kind of insulted so I took it out.

I just called Dell, they are just as horrible as the last time I got a computer. I can't stand Dell. I couldn't get a straight answer out of the guy. The $499 Notebook is $800, that's with minimal everything, no service contracts, nothing. I just don't trust Dell, I had such a horrible time with my PC I swore I'd never buy from them again. The customer service is horrible, everything was awful. I expected to pay around $800 so the price isn't an issue at all. I just hate Dell and I was burned so bad last time I can't bring myself to deal with them again. I think I'll keep looking around. To be honest, I think I'd prefer to not have a laptop vs. going with them again. After my conversation with the sales guy, it just confirmed all my experiences from last time.

Iluvharleys... Regarding other IDs. I'd LOVE it if you guys would deal with those that have multiple IDs. We've caught people doing it before only it is usually the patient coordinators trying to drum up business. Liz is the first I have known without a doubt was who was using another ID that isn't a patient coordinator. When people are using multiple IDs (usually to sell their doctor) why isn't anything done? I can PM you links to posts showing exactly what I'm talking about. When we caught them on the boards they stopped using those accounts and created all new ones. Is it a matter of not being able to verify?

One of the new bands out is a bit different and it does have a fill placed during surgery unlike other bands. However, it is a larger band and the fill (from what I understand) is necessary to get the band to fit around the stomach. Which band did she get? Has she had a barium swallow? That will tell if it is too tight or if she is having standard post op pain.

It does get easier with time. But in the beginning it's a buggar. The times I do deal with head hunger I like Jack Links A1 flavored beef Jerky. You have to chew for about 5 minutes with each bite and that does it for me. Just bought some turkey jerky today at the store, haven't tried it yet. But I love the A1 flavored.

So where do I find what I want?

I just looked at this but it shows Vista. I need help choosing something. I don't want to spend a fortune, I need basic, nothing fancy. I don't need mega graphics. I want extra RAM, no Vista, XP only. Suggestions?
