Mine is shrinking but the skin isn't. It's all stretchy and loose like a scrotum.

I'd rather just wear a girdle. I started at 365, there's no wrap in existance that's gonna tuck that skin in.

I pulled some of my scar tissue about 2 weeks out and was in nasty pain when I turned certain ways. Thankfully, it only lasted for a few days. I made sure to call my doc right away, though, just to make sure it was just a pull.

Well the video never needed to be seen. Everything went fine! And if you're in a good hospital, there's nothing that can go wrong that they won't be able to handle. Have faith. You'll be at home eating yummy yummy chicken broth in no time.

I had mine 5 days before my 30th birthday. All my friends wanted to go out and party, but I stayed in bed all day and had soup instead. There'll be other birthdays.

Preop when people would ask for the "secret", I told them I track everything I eat and they'd look at me in disgust and say that was way too much work. Were they honestly expecting me to tell them to eat bee pollen or something?

People at work keep commenting on how "skinny" I am now and I'm just like.... seriously? Yeah, a size 24 is reaaal skinny. @_@

Yeah I just got an arm slimmer (girdle for your upper arm) on Amazon because my arms have always been huge and flabby. I'm kinda hoping maybe it'll help retract the skin, too. I know people say compression garments don't work, but I had a baby last year and my abdominal skin was loose and jiggling like crazy. I immediately started wearing girdles, and even now at 77lbs down there's no loose skin. Not to say there won't be in another 100lbs, but so far so good!

Have you tried a powdered fiber supplement?

I like the Centrum Flavor Burst chewable multis, but they're expensive so I only get them if I have a good coupon.

I get little twinges now at 5 weeks out. But now they're like, "Eat a little something." Pre-op it was, "GO TO THE CHINESE BUFFET AND EAT EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!!!"

I got a tooth infection 2 weeks out and was told I could take them temporarily. I'm going to check with my doc next visit on his pain med rules, because liquid and chewable children's Tylenol is freaking expensive.

Isn't it funny how our surgeons slice is open, have to spread apart our innards and see all our guts and blobby yellow fat and we're so worried about making sure our little lady is trim?

All the sleeve patients I know irl are at goal or still losing.
