Starting my first fast today on the 5.2 Diet Plan! Questions.

Thank you! I am very excited. And I can honestly say that I have not been optimistic about my weight loss for some time. -
Starting my first fast today on the 5.2 Diet Plan! Questions.
KristieAtkinson replied to Lisa's Hope's topic in WLS Veteran's Forum
I'm glad it's not our Drama Free group carrying on. Lol PS: I also recently started the 5:2. I started last week on Wednesday & Friday. This week switched over to Monday and Wednesday. I feel like it is really working for me. No movement on the scale until this morning (but I was in full blown PMS though!). Scale normally drops at max 3 pounds overnight & today it dropped 5 pounds. Fingers crossed. My body has been fighting me tooth & nail over these last 21 pounds. Grrrrr. -

OMG Carb Free (!) Pasta (Chicken)
KristieAtkinson replied to Skinnypie's topic in Food and Nutrition
I also make my own "noodles" out of zucchini & squash. I use this handy device: http://www.amazon.com/Paderno-World-Cuisine-A4982799-Tri-Blade/dp/B0007Y9WHQ But I also know people who make zucchini noodles using a veggie peeler. I just sauté in olive oil spray then top with either turkey & Pasta sauce or Alfredo & chicken. I also make lasagna with zucchini sliced in thin length wise slices like lasagna noodles. Nom nom nom! But I will have to try these chicken noodles. -

Yes. I do. It's a great group. It is a secret group so you can't find it by searching. If you send me your email address in a PM I can add you that way. -

If you kill him, I will bring a shovel & help a sister out. No jury would convict us. Lol. -

problems with swelling 2 months post op
KristieAtkinson posted a topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I had a corset trunkplasty with tummy tuck muscle tightening on May 28th. I am now almost completely healed but I keep putting on Fluid (Water weight) and right now my belly is noticeably swollen, lower & upper belly. Has anyone else had this problem? I always swell more when I don't wear my binder or spanx style body suit. Is this normal? -

Thank you. I have not been drinking my Water like I'm supposed to but my Protein is between 100-125 daily. My plastic surgeon says this is why I am healing so well from my abscess. -

I enjoy the cauliflower crust pizza but my personal favorite is pizza sauce, cheese & turkey pepperoni on a portobello mushroom cap. A lot less work. I also make personal pizzas on a zucchini boat.

I really like them. No dumping for me. I sometimes wish certain things would make me sick, but alas they do not. I am using these to substitute for sweet crap that I shouldn't eat (cookies, ice cream, etc.) -
I don't get the raw fish. I only order from the cooked sushi menu.
