    Just a standard chobani or yoplait Greek. I think you would want maybe sugar free vanilla or something similar to get the consistency right. Let me know if you come up with a low carb crust. I almost always ate the filling & left the crust. Lol.

    I take plain chobani & add sugar free jello cheesecake. 1/2 a package. It thickens up & tastes just like cheesecake. Gives me 16 protein. :-)
  6. Did anyone else watch nightline last night, 6-18-12? It was "Weigh Less, Drink More?" about transferring your food addiction to alcohol. They talk about Carnie Wilson & Beth Sheldon-Badore, AKA: Melting Mama of Bariatric Bad Girls Club. I'm only 1 month out, so I haven't had alcohol yet. Does it really affect you quicker & sober up quickly? What do y'all think about this phenomenon? Have you experienced it? I've never had a problem with alcohol, so it makes me nervous to drink anything.

    Hungry

    I know a lot of people don't have this problem. But I did. The first thing I heard when I woke up from surgery was my stomach "growling". It scared me to death! I kept thinking I'm not supposed to be hungry!! But I try to ignore it until its time to eat. I eat 3 very small meals filled with protein. I will eat 1-2 snacks. Try to stick to protein or veggies for snacks. If I growl in between food time I drink water to fill me up. The body often times mistakes thirst for hunger. Tell him to stick with it. We all want people to notice. Pretty soon every single encounter will have someone saying how awesome he looks.

    I have lost 116 pounds. I went from a C to a B very quickly (50 pounds in). Now I'm at like a B- :-/ May end up in an A. I'm 36 so I'll probably need them lifted & get implants. But my first plan is for a panelectomy. That's going to have to be first for me.

    Oh MY god. Just got my Click Vanilla Latte Espresso Protein in the mail. Frantically ripped it open like a crack addict with a pipe. Whipped out my blender. Mouthgasm!!!!! I'm in heaven.

    There are two different brands Chike And Click. Click is an espresso Protein. Melting Mama reccomended both. But I'm trying Click first.

    This mornings coffee Protein treat: 1/2 a packet of Starbucks Via 1 scoop chicolate Protein powder SF French vanilla Creamer Splenda 1 cup of Almond Milk 1/2 cup of Water Stir stir stir. Add lots of ice. = Iced Mocha Coffee. 30 grams of protein. Yummy!

    When Can We Drink Coffee Again?

    There is a trick to adding protein to coffee. I add protein to a small amount of Water in a clean dry cup. Add splenda & SF creamer & whisk with a fork. Then I slowly add a little hot coffee to the mixture while whisking until its all combined. If I do this right, no lumpy bumpies. If not, I pour the whole thing in a Blender Bottle & shake. This is how I drink my coffee every day. For the first month after surgery I used decaf, then I switched. I'm trying Click next week. Will let y'all know if it's as good as everyone says.

    Any Good Recipes For Chocolate Protein Powder?

    I just had a scoop of chocolate Protein powder, 1 frozen banana & 1 cup of almond plus milk (vanilla). (blended like a shake) Yummo!!! 31 grams of protein.
  23. Wanted a little flavor with my morning egg. So I took 2 tablespoons of Alfredo sauce, a handful of fresh spinach leaves & about 6 canned mushrooms to the skillet, Cooked until the spinach & mushrooms cook Add 1 large egg & 1/4 cup of Kraft Italian shredded cheese. Yummy!!!!
