    Nine Months Post-Op

Sorry I took so long to reply. My days are pretty consistent. I never drink anything but Water, shakes & coffee. My Protein went from 70 early on, up to 100 grams. My doctor said my workouts require more protein. Up until 6 months out I was getting 500-600 calories with 70-90 protein. After that my dr wanted my protein higher & calories at 1000-1300. I've been working out since 6 months Pre-surgery (other than the 6 week after surgery break). I'll post pics of my average days from MFP. (If you want to see more of my food diaries, My FitnessPal user name is KristieAtkinson, please add me!) I'm currently drinking over 100 ounces of water daily. This has really helped my body shed some water weight I was holding.

    Nine Months Post-Op

It sounds like you are doing very well! My surgery date was 5-18-12. My starting weight was 338. I lost 50 pre-surgery & was 288 DOS. I'm also 5'7. My jeans size was a size 30 & shirt size a 30/32. I'm currently at 195, a size 12 jeans & large tops. I do have an excessive amount of skin on my stomach. I knew that would be an issue going in tho. It's nice to "bump into" someone with VERY similar numbers. It makes me feel better about my slow loss. (Yes, 143 pounds is a lot but 50 of that was Pre-surgery.) Kristie
  3. It is a change in how deep he can go now. Certain positions can get a little uncomfortable for me now. I have found a vibrator on my clit (can i SAY that??) will distract me from the discomfort & increase my pleasure. I know.....TMI! ????
  4. I started at 338 5'7 Pre-surgery. DOS (5-18-12) 288 Current: 195 That's 143 pounds gone! I still have about 40 to go to get to my goal. Maybe 30 + skin reduction surgery.

    A new bra

I was a 46/44 C. After the first 50 pounds I was down to a B. now I'm in a 36 C (with airbags!) but my understanding is that if you go down in band sometimes you have to go up in the cup. Cause I tell you my girls are like a B flat. O_o

    Loose Skin Worries

I have lost 142 pounds & I do have loose skin. Mostly my stomach area. My arms are in good shape. But the skin is live able. It's not restricting me. I will eventually have it removed but overall my health is 100% better than it has ever been. Skin be damned at least the fat is gone!

    Popcorn?

I think obtaining is probably best for now. Eventually when you can have it I would sneak in a pre popped 100 calorie pack. That's what I do because movie theater popcorn is SO bad & it is a slider food for me as well. If I bring in a healthier option I don't eat too much of the bad stuff. Good luck sweetie, I'm glad you are so open to others feedback. This shows a great desire to be successful. When that drive is stronger than your desire to eat what you want, versus what you should, you will have a better shot of reaching your goal.

    Hunger?

Yes, I feel hungry quite often. I felt it at the hospital after surgery! But I try to drink water first cuz sometimes my brain mistakes thirst for hunger.

Looking For A Friend/mentor In Kentucky

Welcome new KY friend! Yes, Dr. Weiss is really pretty to look at. How's everyone else doing? My highest weight was: 356 At beginning of 6 month pre-surgery diet: 338 DOS (5-18-12): 288 Current weight: 216 Total gone forever: 140 pounds
  21. Just wanted to update y'all. I tried Garnier Fight Fall. It didn't work. My hair stylist said hair loss from weight loss requires nutrients put back in at scalp. I started using this Clear Therapy shampoo & conditioner from Walmart. Less than 2 weeks & less is coming out (WAY less!) and I see new growth. :-) PS. I'm only 5 months out.
  22. What I know about the liver, is this, absolutely NO sugar or carbs at all. My doctor said to do the liquid but if I was hungry to eat meat, eggs or cheese. This will still shrink the liver Pre-surgery. If you have to cheat, eat meat. Lol.
