My surgery was June 18, 2012 and I'm down 103 lbs, but if I make it thru this winter without freezing to death it will be a freekin miracle! I was always the one sweating in the dead of winter but not anymore, my family is still saying they can't believe I want the heat on. I have bought a ton of stuff from Bariatric Choice because of the high Protein and low carb selections. I have only 5 items that I continue to purchase (see pics) I also buy my liquid Vitamins and Calcium chews (awesome, they taste like a rolo) can anyone tell that I have a problem with chocolate? When I started this journey in June 2012, I weighed 334.9 lbs and wore a 48DD (very tight and boobs spilling out everywhere!), now I'm down 103 lbs and wearing a 40C (the cup has wrinkles in it, but I can't wrap my mind around the thought that I might be able to wear a B cup). The only tips I can give you is do exactly what your Dr says, only eat what he says and when, it's very important for your recovery, and I have become a gym rat, I go every day and do 45 min on the elliptical machine and do weight training (so I won't have so much lose skin), I do arms one day and legs the next, I only take off on Sunday. Amen OTR you are not alone! I to was killing myself with food, thank God I heard about this surgery. I feel like I found out just in the nick of time, I had so many health problems it was awful. I am 6 months out and we ate at Red Lobster last night, I had the Parmesan Crusted Talapia and I ate about half of it with a few bites of a dry baked potato and a few bites of my salad. I was sleeved on June 18, 2012, surgery weight was 334.9 and I'm down 103 lbs so far. I have 55 lbs to go to be at my Drs goal 175. I have done everything by the book and lost very fast at first, now it has slowed down to a crawl, it looks like I'm gonna have to fight and scratch to get these last 55 off! Amen on being cold all the time now, I never ran heat in the house or in my car until I had this surgery, my heat is on 77 right now and im still cold! My husband is one of those people that has a high body temp year round and before surgery I wouldn't let him even touch any part of my body with his when we were in bed at night because I would be so hot and sweating, fast forward 6 months after surgery and 103 lbs down and when we get in the bed now at night I can't get close enough to him to get warm and man o man is he loving it! When I lose 55 more lbs (already down 103 in 6 months) I want to zip line the highest and longest one in Maui! And as for the different sex positions, my husband says that I have become a sex freak since losing my weight, but he said "please don't stop"! I am so loving this new body! Yes they are only at GNC and they are very hard unless you put them in the microwave, just take the wrapper off before you put them in the microwave or you will get an amazing light show! I have even put them on my car dash in the summer or on my defrost vent in the winter to warm them up when your on the road. Sent from Gaye's iPad Mini using VST
