I am almost 9 months out and down 115 lbs, but it was a really tuff road to get here, my first month was nothing but pain and exhaustion and I didn't start really feeling better and back to normal till 2 or 3 months after surgery, after all that it was so worth all the pain and everything else I went through to get to where I am today. I have lost 110 lbs and I have some loose skin, but I have been going to the gym 4 to 5 days a week since 4 weeks after surgery and I'm 8 months out. The only thing that really bothers me is the granny boobs, I will invest in a boob job when I'm done losing! Sent from Gaye's iPad Mini using VST

My husband is the one who brought up the idea of WLS, he has watched me go thru so many complications from being overweight. At 7 months out and 107 lbs down my favorite snack is the Jif to go reduced fat packs with peeled sliced apples that are pre packaged in the fruit section at Wal Mart, convenient and tasty! Sent from Gaye's iPad Mini using VST

I mix a 6 oz plain Greek yogurt with two tablespoons of fat free/sugar free Jello pudding mix (the powder) and then add in a couple packs of Splenda, and it tastes just like cheesecake! You may not be able to have this yet but I bought some chocolate Protein bars from Bariatric Choice, they taste just like a Nestlé crunch bar and they have 160 calories, 6 carbs, and 10 grams of protein, I don't eat them every day but when I crave chocolate it hits the spot! OMG you kill me with some of your answers! You are to much of a people person to be cooped up in a truck all day. My husband and I travel all over the country with our business and every time we stop at a Pilot station I tell him how cool it would to run into you somewhere. Just an update on my progress, I was sleeved on June 18, 2012 and as of today I'm down 107 lbs! Whoooo Hooooo!!!! I'm so happy with my sleeve! This is surgery day, and this is 107 lbs lost Sent from Gaye's iPad Mini using VST

I felt the exact same way, that I would be the one person that the sleeve didn't work for and I would be destined to be fat forever, but at 7 months out and 106 lbs down it really works! When you start eating solid food you will feel the restriction, at 7 months out I still can't eat more than 3 or 4 ounces of any kind of Protein, and it makes me very happy. All my blood work has been great, and I feel like a million bucks! This surgery was worth every penny (I was self-pay). Just take it one day at a time, you will do great!
