Thank you to everyone for the commnets. They all made me feel better knowing that I am not the only one that feels this way.

Has anyone felt depressed after their lapband? I am four days post op and I have been feeling so depressed about not being able to eat solid foods until July 20th. I think this is a really long time. Has anyone had to wait this long to eat solid foods? Sometimes I feel like I should have waited on the lapband. I know I am feeling this way because I am on a liquid diet and haven't really gotten my strength back yet from surgery. Any advice will help?

Thanks for your advice. I think I will go see a movie later today with my husband. I just don't want to get depressed over this and ask to have the band removed and then regret it later on down the road.

I was thinking that was why I was having hiccups. But I wasn't for sure because I am not really eating anything. I am still on my liquid diet.

Today is my third day after the lapband surgery. I have been having a lot of hiccups today. Has anyone else had hiccups with their band?
