I'm scheduled for Aug 6th.

It was better than i thought. I wake up sleepy as heck. When i got hone slept for 6 hours straight.

Birdy18 I started on Monday the 23rd. What did you cheat with?? A small bag of hot chips & 2 sugar free lemon slices. Keep going you can do it! Were the headaches awful?? Yes I will 5 days to go. I haven't had any headaches.

OMG 6 days left till surgery. Not as nervous anymore, well right now.

Izuri Thank you, for the encouraging words. I do have an old picture of me up when i was in high school & a size 6 blue jeans that were my favorite 15 years old. & yes ma'am no more cheating 6 days left till surgery.....

I'm on my 9th day of my liquid diet before surgery.... & it kills me to say I cheated. I cheated three times I cheated the 3rd day I cheated the 4th day & the 5th day, but not since then. I pray I didn't jeopardize my surgery. & my husband is sitting directly in front of me eating a grill chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce that's smells oh so yummy

Does anyone know if we can have gatorade on a pre -op diet? I feel alittle dehydrated & I'm not big on water. Please help me someone?

An EGD is endoscope is a long, flexible tube about the size of your little finger. During the procedure, you are sedated and the EGD scope is passed through the mouth and back of the throat into the upper digestive tract, allowing the physician to examine the lining of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum (the first portion of the small intestine). My doctor, Dr. Kim told me I had to get this done before surgery.

Can anyone tell me what all can you do with Care Credit? Where to apply for it? & What can you pay with it?

OMG!!! I'm so excited but scared out of my mind. I start liquids, Monday the 23rd. Then the big day August the 6th... Also I have been having doubts about following thru. My husband says if I go through with it or not he will love me no matter what. I think the biggest thing that is getting to me is the surgery & the healing process. What keeps playing back & forward in my head is that we have 4 kids. What if i don't wake up? I couldn't bare the thought of leaving behind my husband & our 4 kids. Are these feelings normal?

Will there be many scars?

2 Lissa: Lol, at Lissa I maybe the same way, because I have a lot of stretch marks. So when I get smaller I'm still gonna have those on my stomach, huh?

2 Klaaspice OMG, really even after 4 days that's awesome. I keep telling myself that: for my health, kids (to be able to run around & play with them as much as I can without getting tired within 5 minutes), physical limitations. Yes ma'am I will stay positive from now on.

Today I just got approved with my insurance as of right now date schedule for my sleeve is July 17th, they have me pencil in because of my busy schedule, but I hope that I get to keep the date. I'm so anxious!!!!! But scared at the same time.

I got my finally date set It's for Aug 6th. Yay, its almost here.

To: timetochange I am in my day 2 of the liquid diet as well. That's what I'm focusing on to, the light at the end of the tunnel. My day is Aug 6th. It's so exciting, but I'm kind of a nervous wreck at the same time.
