5 Months Post-Op (Just Wondering How Everyone Is Doing?)

I was banded on 6/11/12 and have lost 3o pounds so far. I haven't had a fill yet, I go next week to see how things are going. Do the fills hurt? I haven't been too hungry, but the past few days I have had a pain on the left side of my chest after eating, could this be from not chewing enough? -
I am a 45 year old female located in the Boston area. I am 5'2 and currently weigh 200 pounds. I am under the BMi but because I have sleep apnea and high blood pressure I was approved . My surgery is scheduled for the 11th, and I am a nervous wreck.

I had my surgery on Monday, steri strips are still on. They told me they would fall off on their own. I'm feeling pretty good, going to try to get through the day without pain meds. -

I drink the Nectar protein drinks, the chocolate & cappuccino with milk aren't bad and the iced tea mixed with water is pretty good -

I'm afraid that I have an infection by the port. It's only been 5 days since my surgery and the steri strips are still on. My skin is pink around the area. My fiancé thinks its an allergic reaction to the tape that was used. Has anyone else had this problem? -

Where did you have it done? I'm at Beth Israel in Boston,MA. I guess all drs are different. I'm not too impressed with the hospital at this moment, they asked me to bring my cpap machine and here it is 10:30 and respiratory hasn't even hooked it up yet. -

Had the surgery this morning at 7:30, doing pretty well. Have been up walking a few times, the Percocet helps the pain a lot. I do have gas pains in my shoulder though, any suggestions? -

I am having surgery on Monday and am very scared. Anyone out there have any inspirational words?
